This video confirms what my father told me about these motors with a quickie lower unit on a mini hydro - 45 to 50 mph. We we're going to build one together but sadly he passed away at a young age. What's amazing is I don't know of any rig today that can hit that speed with 10 or 15 hp motor on just pre-mixed pump gas!
Anybody could help me with figuring out what boat kit this is ... I'd be much obliged. Wish we could get a walk around break down. Its a great set uo and very well set up and tuned in I tell u what .
The boat was a custom design by rob Dixon who built it, to be totally honest I don’t even know what kit it would be similar to it’s pretty unique. Unfortunately I sold it last summer.

I used to run a 25ss that was fun, 30h got me up to mid high 50s on a c boat . Building a D motor now as I’m a bit heavier 😂
