Yemen is so rich in history, culture, architecture. I can't imagine I have a chance to travel in Yemen, especially being as a female traveler. How is it like traveling in Yemen? How do i manage to protect my safety as a female?

If u go to Yemen maybe wearing an abaya and going to Sanaa I think u ould be pretty safe for the most part, but Yemen is so fun especially when you have family there. Me and my family are trying to go this upcoming year. Thank you for trying to respect the culture as its your first time going there.❤

I am a pashtun girl basically from Afghanistan. I really want to visit Yemen 😍😍😍. Inshallah one day with my father , or me alone would visit 🇾🇪 Yemen. The Yemenis called themselves real Arabs. A country with rich culture and history.

Yemenis don’t have hatred in their eyes. it's simply been over a decade since foreigners visited Yemen for tourism. Additionally, Yemeni women can be seen dining in restaurants everywhere. There are designated areas for families and women, while men have their own separate spaces inside restaurants. Yemenis are known for their hospitality and friendliness, making it a safe destination. Hi Koala, Fascinating place. I never knew that coffee originated there. The restaurant seems very minimalist. And the Indian Ocean views were the first I've seen. If I am not mistaken, I think that the Biblical Queen of Sheba was from that country too. Thanks for sharing your adventures and safe travels always.

I was a woman on my own on business trip some years ago, I met beautiful people and saw some of their world in mountainside restraunt. We all enjoyed ourtime together sharing. Sana is amazing.

Yes, I think her video is not relevant at all. Luckily, I have a Yemeni friend who is showing me photos and videos from all over Yemen and she didn't begin to scratch the surface....Going in a village where they didn't see tourists and complaining that they are not welcoming to tourists....ha ha, even in my grandmother's village in Europe they look strangely at you if you don't look like a local.
at 9:18 you said you saw hatred in their eyes. Correction, his ire was directed at the cameraperson, not you. It would be extremely impolite for him to address you in a negative way, directly. He was either irritated that you were taking up space on the walk path, or that the camera person was filming you without adequate covering (for the region) like the girl. It's not hatred, Imagine if you see an naked women walking outside, I would get pissed at her for walking outside without clothes in front of kids in public, that's exactly the something to us, we're not used to seeing women walking without hijab and Abaya, and it's as bad as walking naked in the middle of the street for us, sorry Yemen is 99.97% a Muslim country, and people barely have Wifi, so the idea of not wearing Hijab is not familiar with us.
