75 books in a year is a fantastic pace! I always think number is books read is a weird way of looking at things, it never measures if you're picking the right books, books that make you happy or sad or feel connections or whatever experience you like. Nice chilled out video today. 🙂
Sometimes I feel so much pressure that I‘m not able to read or at least finish books😢 You‘re perfectly right by saying we can and should relax when we need it. I‘ve to remind myself that I love reading and I‘m allowed to enjoy my time with books, which is the most important thing - at least for me. Love listening to you! 😊
Hi Katie, I really enjoyed your video and listening to you review your reading year so far. 24 books is pretty impressive.☺️ You've read some great books. I started a reading journal last year and it's surprising how fascinating it is to look back over the books you've read. It can tell a story in itself. I'm keen to read Biography of x as I've heard it being given lots of praise. Also, Funny Weather which I'm still trying to get hold of a copy. I agree with your point about how we can sometimes put pressure on ourselves to read vast amounts. I do the same thing, to be honest but forget reading is meant to be an enjoyable pastime. I just have so many great books to read and can't stop buying more 🤭🥰
Hi Zoe! Thanks for watching! 😊 Biography of X was pretty good! I admire your dedication to a reading journal! Right!? I want to read way too much and it’s so overwhelming in the best way that we have so many options and the ability to read almost anything at anytime! 💛
Very true, Katie. I've maxed out my library card and I'm now wondering how I'm going to read another 15 books in 4 weeks on top of my ever growing tbr. 😂. As you say, overwhelming but great knowing I can pick any one of them up at any time and delve in. Each one offering a different experience.☺️ Thank you, my journal is just a pad that I log what I've read plus a few hastily scribbled notes, really but I'm glad I've managed to keep it going. Thanks again for the great content. Looking forward to your next video. 🥰
