- I love wood working and making furniture. Two months ago, I opened up a Wood Workshop with a friend and now we make furniture for people in Kuching! Wood Working is a very satisfying profession and we love using recycled wood to create new products!

I live in Malaysia, but I am originally from The Netherlands. I love living in Sarawak with my beautiful wife and newborn baby. Malaysia is a great country for foreigners, the food is amazing and the people are great!

There is still a shop that sells coffins, not far from our shop!

Wow what an interesting job..carpenter. Carpenter Street is one of the place I frequently visit before. One problem though, it'll take quite a while before you can get a parking spot. It's a pretty busy place. Well, all the best to you and partner.

I like furniture with hidden compartments AND multifunctional... like, a table can be folded to become a chair and can fit small spaces.
Do you guys make any rattan furnitures ? it has been part of interior furnishings in the past and it would be nice to see now.

We use a lot of different types of wood but we prefer working with hardwood, or semi hardwood like Batu Selangan. It all depends on the client.

Follow your passion! We started out as hobbyists, then decided to open a workshop and now we make custom furniture for various people! We're learning new tricks every day and love what we do! I suggest you start in your backyard, and make some furniture for friends/family first. Go from there!

Thanks a bunch! A basic car (let's say the Perodua Axia) would be about RM25.000-35.000. if you go for the latest most popular car in Malaysia, the Perodua Myvi 2022 edition, full specs would be about RM65.000.
