although pro tools are now trying to inter-grade more music production with a few standard VST's but yeah Pro Tools has be used only as a multi-track recorder for centuries. But everyone to their own DAW tho. personally ableton live and logic pro take the cake
Took me almost 10 years to figure out what they are saying.......then all of the sudden CLICK! Painted Blue Sky. How could I have missed that for so long? ????
I use Reason + tbh it's better than Fruity Loops. The sound engine in reason is a lot better imo once you combat the lack of mid frequencies. The only thing I prefer in FL is the step sequencer. And yes, I make very chilled out dubstep + liquid drum & bass. I would say though that Logic + Ableton...maybe Cubase too would be the best for music production. :)
