I'm sure others have requested this but I have been hunting for a review of the Sans Water Purifier. I can't find any reviews anywhere not to mention a review as well done as your reviews are (so I'm sure it would be a highly viewed video)! Thank you!
Can you please please test shower filters as well? Berkey, Aquasana, HelloKlean, Jolie and Sprite r really popular but I’ve always wondered if they are actually effective and which filters might be the best option. Thankya!!
I just found your channel today and love it. I'm just wondering though, is it possible to get the same equipment as a lab and what books would be best or course to teach on a professional level.
Yes, it's possible to get industrial lab testing equipment, if you have the $$$! Plus you'd need training on how to use it properly. The WQA wqa.org/ is a good resource to learn about water quality at the professional level.
Hi Brian, thank you so much for the helpful content! Question: How much chlorine and chloramine can a RO system (~7 stages, like the Waterdrop G3) remove?
love your content! I have a question regarding gravity fed systems: I live a 2 minute walk away from a natural Spring in the Uk. I can go and collect the water from there for me and my family to drink whenever we like but im concerned about bacteria and harmful organisms that may be in the water- as i know this can sometimes occur even in natural springs and especially when surrounded by farmed fields (which we are). What would be your advice on the best gravity fed system to filter spring water, minimally but effectievly?
You're right - just because the water comes bubbling up naturally from the ground does not mean it's fresh and clean. On the contrary, natural spring water can have all kinds of contaminants including microbiological, inorganic and even anthropogenic chemicals (like fertilizers and pesticides coming from those agricultural properties). The best way to identify proper treatment is with a lab test, then use the data to guide your purchase decision. For strictly removing microbiological contaminants with a gravity fed system, look for one that uses ceramic media.
May I ask if you have reviewed Waterdrop Chubby 10-Cup Water Purifier Pitcher for its ability to reduce fluoride? I'm looking for a budget pitcher that reduce fluoride but won't remove every component like zerowater does.🙈
Total dissolved solids is just a report- ph is more important as a high tds and high ph can be good. Low ph and high tds can be real bad... Your test is just a glimpse and you need to use the intelligence properly.
Great video! Will you be testing the Bluevua RO100ROPOT Reverse Osmosis System at some point? They're a relatively new presence in the countertop filtration space and this unit has been getting rave reviews, would love to hear what your testing has to say about it!
Can you please test "the water machine" filters? It's a gravity-fed water filter, that claims to be the most powerful black carbon filter on the planet.. 🤷🏻♀️ thanks!
Alka viva took over years ago for the company Jupiter. Jupiter was very good. Alka viva NOT I do have an Alka viva melody. Seems good . Never tested. And even if their machines are good, the company sucks.
@@pocahontas330 Distillation is one of the best methods to purify water - that said, it requires large energy and time inputs for relatively small volumes
@@waterfilterguru Thank you for your answer! Does it remove all the good stuff though... and if so...is there a way of putting the good stuff back in? Also I was reading that there are plants such as Holy Basil that removes fluoride and contaminants from water
Yes distillation will remove nearly everything. Check out this article to learn how to remineralize distilled water waterfilterguru.com/how-to-remineralize-distilled-water/

Could you test the AquaTru Carafe Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier?
It's on the list! Thanks for the request
Have you tested the latest Virgin pure yet? If not please do! We already have it unfortunately and I’m not exactly convinced!

Right on, which is why lab testing combined with on-site readings taken from digital instruments is so vitally important

We'd definitely love to test a few of those ionizer machines to see what they really do
Yes, I would like to see that. I will never buy an Alka Viva again. And now I have to figure out what my next machine will be.
Again, thank you
