How fun! I love driving through Mobile and looking at the architecture. Beingets, by the way are French donuts, common throughout the south, but especially in LA, MS, and AL.
yes, Mobile has beautiful architecture! and thanks for sharing that. they' remind me a lot of ponchiki, which are a variation of donut holes sprinkled with powdered sugar also. so good!
That plane your husband likes so much is an A-12. There were only 12 of them made so it’s actually a very rare airplane. Most think it’s a SR-71, which is its sister model. The A-12 was actually faster than the SR-71.
Hey there Tash. I am just thrilled that you and your family visited my home town, Mobile, AL. The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial is still one of my faves. My dad was an Engineer for the US Air Force & a Vietnam Vet so we went there a lot as kids. If you're a foodie, you'll love the amazing cuisine not only in Mobile but also in Spanish Fort, Daphne, & small towns going south to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, & the Flora-Bama. If you want to experience all Southern Alabama has to offer, you'll need to set aside a week or so. There's just so many fun things to do & awesome people to meet. Y'all take care & God Bless! #SouthernHospitality🤠🤗🙌🙏
A native to Mobile AL here. A great place in downtown Mobile is the Haunted Bookshop. It's a used bookstore with an adorable kids section and a store cat
Oh wow I live here in Mobile. We actually just a little outside of the City but how cool. Hope you enjoyed your time here.
We definitely did ❤️
So fun. Love all the clothes you got the kids.💕
