My kids love all these new rescue bots, especially those little tiny ones that turn into dinosaurs. Fun to play with, NOT fun to step on. Trust me, they're like Legos with attitude.

true to an extent, the plastic must be purchased ahead of production so usually current costs of oil aren't reflected on currently available items.. that said I am sure big companies still pay pennies on the dollar for raw materials..
I gave my nephew the older rescue bots last year and he enjoyed them. I don't think he will like the new smaller sizes except Blades. They seem a lil flimsy compared to the originals. Maybe there will be changes in the next line and also funny how the prices compared to what you get.

Oil prices is just an excuse when toy companies get cheap. Oil prices have actually gone way down recently.

Definitely. I wouldn't mind the change if the price was $10 or less.. but just feels a bit too much for what you get.
