It's actually a great idea for emergencies as well. People tend to forget that if the power goes out in the house the landline phone always stayed working. Plus solar flares always mess up cell phone connections.

I do feel you. Sad part is they can barely read cursive nowadays because they don't teach it anymore. So between rotary phones,, cursive and driving a stick shift our kids won't know what to do.😔

Kids don't know the slamming experience. It's been years and I STILL miss it. Ain't nothing worse than cursing out somebody on the phone and not being able to here that "bell" reverb after you slam on em'!!!

I remember when caller ID. Some out and we had to buy a separate caller if box. You had to call and add it to your service as well 🤣. Whew BellSouth. I remember I ran that phone bill up calling my bf during the summer and somehow my dad never realized it was me 🤣.

It's actually a great idea for emergencies as well. People tend to forget that if the power goes out in the house the landline phone always stayed working. Plus solar flares always mess up cell phone connections.
