Trying to compete in four competitions and expect the likes of Macca to play every minute. We were going to run out of legs, we were going to get lots of injuries the way Klopp plays. Wow.

The way you favorize Elliot over Szobo is a joke. If it wouldn't be for Dom we wouldn't had that strong start this season and we'd be back for maximum Europa League next season again. The impact he had for this team was immense, while Macca was struggling in the 10 first games Dom was the one who put fire in this team. You should show more gratitude
Exactly. Dom performed extremely well till he got injured. Elliot has not given us anything. I wanna hear from Craig what exactly Harvey Elliot contributed to Liverpool this season. Elliot had tons of missed passes in a short period of time. I can't stand the stupidity on this channel.

Craig gave him 10's in the player ratings, van Dijk called him a "different breed". That is how big of an impact he was. It's true that he isn't playing the same level now but he is still better than Elliot 😘
@@kevintoth5365 to be fair Kevin. Elliot performed well many times when he came in from the bench. He scored a late goal vs Palace away for example. But that is where his place is: on the bench!
Domi dipped in form a bit even before the injury imo. It happened after the Hungarian interview where he mentioned the thing that there were some players earlier, ha had heard, that were happy sitting on the bench and not fighting for their spot in the starting XI. I guess he got some reaction for that comment and may have caused some internal tensions. It was an unnecessary comment but hey, he's still learning to be as professional as he can.

No. Endo is not suited for team like Fulham. He is more useful when teams defend deep or ball playing. When there is strict man marking he is a liability. Our team in general struggle against man-marking. Klopp prefers his midfield to be hard working engine than more ball-playing. Curtis is the only exception with ball carrying ability. But he holds onto the ball for too long. Honestly I don’t where Dom’s ability has gone

I like Elliot behind Jota on the right because they can swap positions: when Jota comes short Elliot goes wide and becomes the inverted winger. Makes it more of a 4-2-4 and we need goals.
We have 1 goal from open play in the last 4 games, so changes like this have to be considered.

Szoboszlai in Leipzig...left midfield or left winger...klop puts him right midfielder

It's different, szobo played attacking during his Leipzig time which is suits him, same with hungary. Under Jürgen, he is playing box to box which he also have to defend and i think he is more on attacking.
He was bossing it til his injury and since he's come back klopps been hopeless at team management. Rotation is important but klopps too used to being restricted that he's scared to rotate during the business end of the season
If Szoboszlai is so bad then why does the team always perform worse after he's taken off? I watched the LFCTV match replay and for the first 30 minutes all the commentator was doing was praising Szoboszlai against Atlanta yesterday. Yes, he made one really bad pass, yes he's playing worse than at the start of the season, but why pick on him so much? It's not like Jones or Elliot did any better. It seems like people are emotional because they got excited after his good start and now they are rating him COMPARED to his former self and not compared to the rest of the team. So, taking him out of the starting line up won't help one bit.

People are just slating whoever at this point, nobodies paying attention to the real mistakes. Mac has been slower than hendo but keeps playing full games. The other 2 mids are coming back from injuries.. all of a sudden our midfield has similar levels of energy as last season and funnily enough were performing similar too

There was already an example where they started with Elliott. It didn't work out. In the last match, the game was good as long as Szobo was there. There were no scoring chances after that.
No matter what Szobó does. The smart armchair football scientist came at him by saying that he was to blame for everything.

It's not the formation but the players he picks that's the issue. Mac needs a rest, but he'll play the full game. Elliott needs a start same with gravenberch, get some energy in the team rather than just favourites

Curtis jones have been fit for the last 4 or 5 games to say he’s had millions of opportunities to prove himself when he’s literally getting back to full fitness himself is crazy
People just say what they're used to and few are actually watching games. I thought I was going crazy til the commentary agreed that gakpo had been our best player vs atalanta but fans are used to slating him. Same with how they blame nunez even though he came on once we'd given up. Were slowly become united
Szoboszlai consistently delivers 2-3 key passes in every match. His 110% assist against Palace and his involvement in earning the penalty against Atalanta demonstrate his impact, which surpasses that of Elliott, Jones, and Gakpo combined. He often doesn't receive the support he needs, missing out on passes for his breakthroughs. While it's true he's not in his best form and has some turnovers, this is true for almost every Liverpool player. Things didn't go well with him, but without him, the team suffered. There wouldn't be any issue if the strikers scored the goals they're supposed to.
But go ahead, try out your lineup. Otherwise, I think nobody, apart from the fanatical supporters, expected Liverpool to be in such a position before the season. I believe they are performing far beyond expectations. After the first few matches, I expected the team to be around 6th place.

I like your lineup, Craig, and no, you’re certainly not losing your mind - the players, and possibly the manager, have all checked out, so we need to pick players who are hungry and want to win. If we don’t move on enough players in the summer, I’m doubtful over whether FSG will provide funding for a top striker, so it’ll be great to give Danns a run out to see if he’s worthy enough to be Liverpool’s no. 9 next season.

I like the idea of Danns starting but you can’t move Jota onto the right to accommodate this as Jota is our poacher in the middle so makes little sense.

Let’s be absolutely honest about this game, based on The Reds worst possible week in recent years, I believe that Fulham are going to give Liverpool a real smack on Sunday. Fulham rise to the occasion when playing a big team, and Liverpool seem ready to be taken!
Fair line-up also weirdly Nunez is more eager and plays like the real nunez the nunez that had confidence with veins as cold as ice when he comes off bench.

Quansah inexperience caused us the MU game & partially the premier . Have u seen Quansah doing a good forward pass ? Always sideways or backwards. He is a good defender in terms of marking n speed but that's it for now .

Sobo has been losing balls in dangerous positions time and again past few months. Elliott’s performance much better compared to Sobo. Gomez needs to be sold asap (yes he was great up until Robbo came back).

I see it in their faces - some have just given up on this season and are just trying to ride it out (no more passion for winning much less winning big when you have an opponent on the ropes). Some others are still really trying but have what we call in the States - 'the yips'. It's a mentality that freezes them in key moments which forces bad passes, late decisions, forcing action from other players (which is of course impossible) by just hoping someone else will be where you hope they'll be (too many long passes to nowhere), afraid to make mistakes (passing the ball back to the keeper instead of moving into attacking positions), etc. Best to go ahead and start the players who still have the passion to prove themselves and have fun while doing it - like Danns and McConnell. That's not giving up on the season, it's hopefully kicking some life in to a mostly dead squad!
Agree with the defence and midfield..But if Jota plays he has to be at No 9...So i would put Gakpo left and Diaz right..As for Szoboszlai..i think the season has caught up with him physically...although he looked okay first 45 on Thursday...
I've been saying for the last couple of weeks that I'd like to see Danns in the starting line-up.
Endo = defender no attack and too slow ! Szobo's play is indispensable for LFC attacks !!! No Szobo no LFC ' dangerous attacks !! Thats fact !

Quansa has high potential, but we should be playing out experienced players, so for me Konate, midfield would not disagree with because that is all we have, but up top, Jotta on the right, no sorry has to be through the middle, agree with Gakpo on lsft, but I would play Diaz on right. Dans is yet another player who has potential, but to start a kid who has only had this season were he has come on, we are supposedly chasing City but with academy potential, proves how lacking our squad actually is.

I like the idea of starting Danns up the middle, with Jota and Gakpo...give them a half and if it works give them the start in the second half...you've still got Mo, Darwin, Diaz, and I wouldn't be afraid to put Szobo up front on the wing!

Loosing Matip early on came back to haunt us as VVD was never given a rest. Yeah, Quansa and Ibou doing well. But Klopp will always pick a senior and intermediate centre half pairing.
Craig I would be fine with this 11 I don’t feel like we’d concede. If it don’t work we could bring in mo Darwin Diaz or dom.

Craig, I disagree. Endo is back as No.6, Mac Allister as No.8. Macca plays better moving forward, creating chances and scoring goals. If he playing as 6, would be wasted chances of scoring. He is the only player we can count.

its crazy that our first choice striker in nunez is probably one of the worst finishers at the whole club. every position. danns would've scored more than him this season if he started all the games nunez started.
Salah,Diaz,and Nunez, look tired although they are good players, they have lost their firepower of late. Time out for the three may be a way to get them rejuvenated for the last four games.
Gakpo again? Come on Craig, he’s awful, starts well for 5 mins then goes missing he’s so poor and not good enough - danns as much as id like to see it he’s not ready yet off the bench yes with around 20-30 mins max but he’s a kid and at this time of the season a massive risk to start him
