This is a perfect example of someone with severe anxiety, who only connects when he's doing something that comes natural to him, Lee is the best comedian to come out of the UK,
Lee is no doubt a brilliant comedian but the best ever? There has been many before him.
I had no idea he was even a comedian. After seeing There's Something About Mary on tv I wondered what happened to him, I remember seeing him in a bunch of movies as a kid. I really don't think his comedy career is that well known outside of Britain
@@EF-zy3nr He is/was very well known inside the UK and I agree not so much outside the UK but then that doesn't make him any less of a stand up than people who are in fact we Brits are blessed to have known him. He was brilliant on stage, going by todays standards of comedian or comedienne there is very few that could hold there own when compared to him. His audience spanned both genders and all ages although he used to swear it was in context so it wasn't for effect like some do. He is/was much loved and missed. Shame he retired so early but he had reasons.
@@anglewoden im sure elsewhere in the English speaking world people would recognize him as a popular comedic actor who was in a bunch of movie in the late 90s to early 00s and then disappeared
@@EF-zy3nr I'm sure there are, especially ex-pats.
You can see how uncomfortable he is until he starts changing his voice and telling jokes he seems more comfortable - such a humble guy 😂
Not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother recently xD
@Raiden Maurice Definitely, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
@Raiden Maurice Yup, have been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself =)
@Raiden Maurice definitely, have been using instaflixxer for since december myself :D
@@atlasasher3519 seems like you all are the same person trying to promote your website to me 😂😂
One of the most loveable people in comedy.
Physically hurts when someone says a bad word about him. How could you not adore him?? Clearly the most genuine sweet guy going. No wonder hes been taken since he was 18 ❤❤ AND YES HE IS FUNNY!! #fightme 🖕🖕
I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting to Lee shortly before he made it really big in film. he lived about a mile from where I was, and one lunchtime we literally bumped into each other on Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff. I stopped to say sorry, as you do, and he turned around and looked back, and I of course was like, OMG its Lee Evans. He started to mimic me as if to say he was shocked to see me and went into his act on the street. I was in stitches. After we chatted for 5 minutes about his recent TV comedy show, and all the time locals came past and said hello, he knew them all. Most by name. He was so grounded, and I have never forgotten that few minutes in his presence. What Lee didnt say here, was a big part of not continuing his film roles, was his wife, who he loves endlessly, wanted to come back home. So he did. I am so happy after 21 years they are still together.
gutted I never got got round to seeing him live.Keep hoping he'll come out of retirement
Stop telling tales.
Had a game of cards with this guy, I let him win...
@@ruralrob228 Such a shame. Saw him live 3 times from small venues to arenas, absolutely fantastic!
I’ve always found him to be super handsome...but the fact that he’s so shy and humble just automatically takes him all the way up to being “fucking hot” in my book 😏
Me and my dad done some roofing works on Lees house many years ago, he was a true gent, and always will be👍👍👍
I drove past him near he’s house . He was out jogging , a I slowed up my van as I saw him and shouted out the window .... LEE EVANS !!!!! He waved sand smiled and as I drove away I looked in my side mirror and he was still waving.... I should of pulled over .. next time maybe .
No u shouldnt, ppl that stop ur jogs r so annoying 😂
@@KB-cv7eh jog on the spot fuckhead
@@Oi-wq3mp that is not the same fuckhead but im sure ur some sports expert that knows better
Wish rossy would have not interrupted and speak over Lee like that... seen Lee live, absolute legend
He does that with everyone. Very disliked person
He's an absolute genius, I love the guy, soooo funny
I wish Jonathan would let his guests speak and stop interrupting them with childish remarks
Agreed . With the right interviewer, this would have been so much more natural. Parkie would have ben brilliant.
Who Mr fucking six sizzling sausages I fucking hate the cunt me, 😂😂😂
Craig That’s because Ross is a narcissistic prick.
@@modestyblaise3608 yep.... cant help himself. interjecting his own 'comedy' in the presence of someone who sells out huge venues...yet is just himself in interviews....I wanted to hear Lee talk more but cunty chops himself kept jumping in and I was like stfu .. it was a bit cringey watching Johnathan Ross attempt to capitalize on this interview...
Craig Ferguson and Lee Evans would be a perfect match! Kinda like the interview with Robin Williams!
Great performer and genuinely top bloke , rare breed 👍
Seen live in Birmingham
A Class Act
A Great Man
And an inspiring storyteller about his life with thanks to his wife
Forever in my heart
Lee Evans
He used the ‘go to bed’ line on tour!😂
Love Lee Evans. Saw him live and have never laughed so much in my life , the best
I was in a film with him . Freeze Frame. Filmed in Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast. I was an extra who got to kick him down a flight of stairs. He was an absolute gent. It was a bit scary when I was introduced to him. he had his head shaved and no eyebrows. Made me feel really at ease, as if I got the kick wrong, I could have broken his nose! I was hunched under a camera, trying to do a kick within a few inches of his nose. Did the scene with him and the stunt man. Great day and it was lovely to meet and work with him. Really great guy.
Looks young, acts young. Stand up proud, Lee, cos we luv yer and stay forever young mate!
I am so depress and I put Lee Evans on to cheer me up and he save my life in many occasions.
Hope you’re feeling better 6mths on. Hang in there, you’ve got this brother! 👍
He's actually a very good looking bloke...
I think if they ever made a movie about Norman wisdom, lee should play him..
I've been thinking that ever since I first saw him years ago, wish they do Norman Wisdom film with him
Yes he should, he has alot of his qualities.
Totally agree. He so reminds me of lovley Norman xx
Deffo, I like him in Jackie Chan movie was it Golden child ??
Yuuuuup
Just a pure legend 😂🔥👌🏻
My wife always says she’s not a fan of Lee , having said that I was watching one of many live performances on tv a while ago and within 5 minutes she was in stitches .. enough said .
Would love for him to make a come back great comedian 🙌
Lee Evans is 100% funny I have all his tours on dvd.
I went to see lee evens in Cardiff and omg 😆 he woz hilarious 🤣 😂👍🏻👍🏻 I love him, he is an absolute legend !!!! 💓 😘
Woz
..
Woz
Woz?
Are you 12?? I bet you type like that on Facebook too. You are lowering the intelligence of the UK.
@@CorrectionUnknown "Woz" was an alternate spelling back in the early days of the internet - the OP probably hasn't learned that most of us stopped "alternate spelling" as soon as predictive text improved. In other words, the OP is far from being 12, and is probably knocking on the door of her 40s
Pure Genius, much loved, greatly missed.
One of my top comedians ever!
Only got to see him once, just before he announced his retirement, what a great evening, he's one of the best, much to be missed.
He is the best stand up comedian ever fact the wanna bes now a days not good enough tie Lee's shoe laces
He's just like Robin williams...makes me laugh so much.
@Garry Bee Wanker
@Garry Bee you nasty bastard
Definitely has that frenetic style.
What an absolute legend! !!!
I when too his show for my 40 birthday front row ,amazing and told him he was amazing at the end
Johnathan Wass has got the biggest gob on television never lets anyone get a word in.
He should fuck off to New York and be a taxi driver as they love to talk none stop
He has great expressions to go with his great observations, v funny man.
1 of the best stand up comedians in the world, sure he'll be back in the future for a few shows
Not really, hes retired m8
I had the pleasure of briefly meeting Lee Evans when I was working on Dinotopia at Pinewood Studios. He was playing the voice of one of the talking CG dinosaurs and wanted to see the renders we had created. He was such a genuinely lovely person, and just as funny off camera. Some of the voices he was trying out with us had us in stitches.
Good lad Lee and truly one of a kind.
I adore this man. ♥️
Retired way to early....
Jeez, rip to both of your grammar
He'll come back
He’s back doing theatre work on broadway or something like that. He said he retired too spend more time with his family but he wants too come back
He toured his ass off
@@ItsParadise304 to not too
Lee Evans in the petrol station was always so funny😂 when he had the tea towel on doing a Egyptian Dance🐙
Lee is a legend of Legendary proportions
Class with a great mixture of comedy ......always makes me laugh
He is so down to earth. But so funny. His bloody laugh !! He should never have retired x
I used to like the Jonathan Ross show but then Graham Norton came along & showed the world how a late night talk show should be done!🙏
U must be the only one that does like Ross he is a annoying unfunny cockney wanna and should not be a chat host even deaf. Ppl wish he would shut up and let the guest talk which subtitles and sign language. greaham Norton and Alan Carr are fucking brill comperd to him
Love him, miss him, needs to come back.
Why is Ross cutting in with everything Lee Evans conversation. Rude interviewer
B cos he's a knob and trying to funny

Funnier than ever
Great guy 😁😁😁😁
Funniest guy I've seen live!
Johnathan needs to stop butting in and keeps talking over him ,,,,
That’s because Johnathan Ross is a git.
British eccentricity at its finest....just bordering on madness...long may it happen.
Wish someone would ask him to do his Impressions, he does Sean Connery like it's Sean Connery himself.
old skool entertainer, I bet he's a great dad
he could play the joker so well🃏
I would love to see Lee do a Norman Wisdom life story :)
Agree

Ah, Lee ... we love you - we really do. But God knows you've earned retirement. Enjoy it !! And if you ever do decide to do a one nighter - we'll still be here to share in the laughs WITH you. God Bless.
J.ross! Not at all funny...likes the sound of his own voice....now Lee.....well he’s everything a woman would ever like or want.....absolutely a gentleman and born to be a world class comedian!
Wish him and his lovely wife all the happiness in the world! God bless you for the laughter and tears of joy! X

Shame Ross is so fond of himself.Lee Evan's is brilliant.
Only one thing I hate. Please don’t say you’re an idiot, because you’re far from an idiot 🥰
Lee lives up the road from me. Awesome guy and great talent plus he's as humble as you can get. Shame he has to be interviewed by an unfunny, annoying fake
Jonathan Ross is terrible
@The Guvnor not everyone likes his smutty gay obsessed humour. You might enjoy that kind of thing, but alot of people don't.
@Wayne Anthony Holmes if you think JR is funny ,you are the one with a sad life.
@Wayne Anthony Holmes 😂away back to your piano with your three pals.
@Wayne Anthony Holmes you're first comment was replying to a comment from 3 months earlier. 😂
Bye bye knobhead 😂
What a genius

Sounds like Kenneth Williams 2:50
protect this man at all costs.

Lee expressing his admiration for his wife… Johnathan talking over him all the time
A battle of wits at the end I think Lee stood up and threw some physical comedy in showing up John just a touch. As a host John's gotta hold his own but what a comedy natural is Lee despite some of the kinda gaps where you see him flounder
A phenomena who ranks with Mozart & Da vinci :)
He’s 57 now .. yep it’s been that long
Lovely humble man, but you would swear he was off his chopper hahaha
nah, im pretty damn sure Lee doesnt touch drugs mate.
Lee Evans is right, menapause is bloody awful and lasted me 10 years, sooooo glad it's over phew I can't recommend it though some women get it easier. What I don't miss is PMS and periods, OMFingG!!! When I remember them they can still make me cry, the sheer pain was excruciating. I used to say to my son at those times approach with extreme caution with a box of chocolates in one hand, flowers in the other lay them in front of me and back gently out of the room, do NOT turn around, just back out again and close the door! Nahhhh I'm well out of it all.
First time he mentioned his wife's name.
