Great to see this catch up video. Definitely have some more OU study videos to share on what you are doing. They will inspire others and help you, too, consolidate your learning when you show others what you have learned.
Ah, hello there Lucy- lovely to see you again! Congratulations on your trusteeship- that’s fantastic news. Also I’m so pleased to hear you talking of autism in such positive ways. My 2 sons are autistic and the youngest is also ADHD, and even if I fail at ever other aspect of parenting- I’m determined that they should not feel shame, embarrassment or less than anyone else because of their neurodiversity. I’m very very passionate about that! Good luck with all your writing projects and studies xx
Ah Lucy it’s so good to see you back and so happy. Do you please share more OU info with us because I’m at the start of my journey with them. And I’m also working my way through Ms Christie’s novels which are just so clever. If you’re getting into thriller a modern writer I recommend is LJ Ross and her DCI Ryan books starting with Holy Island they are also doable in a day and so good
It’s lovely to see you back, Lucy! When you discuss her further, do you think you could talk about the best ways (in your opinion) to start reading Agatha Christie? I’ve been meaning to pick up her novels for a few years now but never decide on which one to read first. 💗
So good to see you back on UA-cam and Congratulations about the Bronte trusteeship - wonderful news 🎉🎉. Like you, I have spent this year reading lots of Agatha Christie - I’m following the reading suggestions for Read Christie 2023. Miss Marple is my favourite, but like all her regularly occurring detectives. This month, my list to read is Murder on the Orient Express, Halloween Party, and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
Hi Lucy So pleased you are back! Congratulations on your Bronte Trustee work. Fantastic! I would like you to do videos on Open University and your course please. Welcome back! 👍
Congratulations on your Trusteeship, looking forward to hearing more updates about it! It would be really great if you could also make another video about the Open Uni please? I'm a first year History student with the OU and just watched your first year roundup, I'd love to know more about your studies 😊
I’m late to watching this - but I love everything about your updates! Great news all around. I love Emma too, I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. And I just wanted to say thank you for sharing all the Bronte content. Thanks to your channel I am an avid reader of The Brontes sisters!
It's great to see you again on youtube. I have never been diagnosed, but I have realized I'm on the Autism spectrum. It makes the most sense. Congratulations on becoming a Bronte trustee. It is really cool.
Oh, hello again!! Fixing ones teeth is sooo worth it! I did not finish that process till I was nearly 45, but it is worth it! Good luck with your studies, and congrats on being a Bronte trustee🎉🎉. Also good for you for getting a proper autism diagnosis and growing so much because of that. Take care!
Hi Lucy, so nice to see you are back! I just thought of you last week as I began to read ‚Agnes Grey‘ and it reminded me on ‚Victober‘ and your former videos. 😊 I grew up watching the Miss Marple films on tv but I only read one or two books from Agatha Christie so far. I also have a/her biographie waiting, so thank you you for reminding me to come back to it! Looking forward for your upcoming Videos Greetings from Germany Astrid
Hello again, now from a fellow autistic who has always related to Mr. Darcy in that respect so I am looking forward to your book! Thanks for coming back, you've been missed!
I am from India, I like your videos and have been following you for a long time. I have never commented before, but let me tell you that you have been an inspiration. Keep posting more videos. Nice to see you back. God bless.
Hello Lucy - delighted to see you back again. Congratulations on the trusteeship, and glad to hear that you're getting on well with Emma. I've gone 20th century American post-modernist lately, which is a conversation killer if ever there was one. 🙂
Briliant video Lucy, congratulations on becoming a Trustee! I hadn't noticed the Invisalign but I DID notice the lovely old volumes behind you, you've got a great library. Thank you for your openness & positivity regarding autism; this affects my family, and advocates like you warm my heart. I can't wait to read your future writings with neuro-divergent characters. Good luck with your studies this year - and with the dating! I hope you meet someone who is absolutely deserving of being in your life. All the best.
Hello Lucy I missed you I love watching your video I glad you reading Agatha chirstie and Emma . I like hearing about the brontes .hearing about your studying .❤
You are as beautiful as they come. I recommended reading Japanese Zen poetry and meditating on it. Autistic people a very driven and focused, so I imagine lots of intellectuals and writers and painters were probably very enthusiastic like you are and nowadays society does not appreciate it so much and considers it a weakness instead of an ability. I wish I could meet you in person and talk about literature and art. Good wishes.
Oh my God. I forgot about you Lucy. I'm so pleased you have returned. Congratulations on your recent endeavor with the Bronte society. I must include a funny little bit of some dialogue from a passed American movie that I enjoyed. A bookish crazed young woman working at a library spends all her working days and leisure time reading. An author shows up at her library to do a book signing. The young woman becomes fascinated and obsessed with the author. She then at one point worms her way into the author's life and dangerous ly tries to control her life and what she should write about next. It's getting more creepy every day. One day the woman comes home to her drinking mother and has a confrontation about her daughter's life. She says something like, your always at that library, never go out, you read too much, your too thin etc. And says and you don't have any friends and then her daughter says, I have friends Mama. And her mother says, Yeah, the Bronte sisters!!!!😮
I'm so happy you're back, Lucy, and it is so wonderful to see you thriving!
Lovely to see you back, and congratulations on your trusteeship :) And yes please to a Pride and Prejudice retelling from you!
