Bisexual people only likes a certain type of people rather they are boy or girl. They don't mind.
Pansexual will date anyone that likes them back.
They do have similarities but when it comes down to it. They are very different. Bisexuals and pansexuals (off of the random list I made in my head) will date these things but for bisexuals they have to be a boy or girl. If you date people don't classify as any gender, two genders or switches genders here and then you are probably not bisexual.

@@StrawberryMilkBby that's not true. bisexual is inclusive, just look up the definition on any major bi organization like BiNet USA and you'll see. Most bi people don't exclusively like men and women and that has been true for the past century. i'm bi, and i would definitely date people outside the gender binary :)

This actually made me cry. It feels nice to see how many people can feel the same even though we're not close. Part of your story is similar to what I'm currently living. And still, the coming out part hasn't passed by my house. In this case, imagine being the only LGBT+ in a family full of homophobic and religious outdated family. I think the only one who knows by know, and by small hints, is my dad who lives in US. I'm relieved to see that you could accept yourself and come out. Hey, I'm editing this to tell you, whoever may be interested, after watching this video I took it upon myself to reflect and guess what? The next day, after struggling for almost 2 months of wether to tell my father or just shut it and keep being a coward...I came out to him. I have to say that that moment was one of the HARDEST in my life, and I was there crying after I told him and he then went
"You actually took a lot to tell me, silly. Why didn't you tell me sooner, eh?"
And then it cried again. Mayne I was more nervous because even though he's open minded, he still is religious. And then after after a long talk, with him telling me that the only thing he wanted for me was for my happiness (and in maybe 10 years grandsons or granddaughters with whoever I'll be) he stated again that I'm his daughter and that he loves me no matter what. I even sent him your video and he pointed out the same fears that I stated before. I just want to thank you, I don't know what else to say apart from thank you. Because of your video my dad realized why I didn't tell him sooner and even tried to make me smile so I wouldn't be sad for something that people shouldn't be afraid to say to their family, and it will always be hard, but love is love and that's stronger than anything. Thank you 😇😆

I’m a young 11 year old pansexual and I have a homophobic family and I don’t ever want to tell them but I know I do. So I feel you all the religious things, and it kinda sucks
aww, well I hope if you did come out to them, it went well, if not, then I hope it does if you're planning to in the future. I relate to you in a way, though I'm thirteen. My two sisters, somewhat my dad, my step mom, my aunt, and my grandma are supportive, while my mother, her relatives, and my oldest sister are not for sexuality topics, if you're not straight, that is. I told my mother I was bisexual in the thin ice situation of her divorcing my dad, being the idiotic person I am. She pulled out her bible (keep in mind that my mother's side of her family is STRICTLY religious, while my dad is religious but he's laid back abt it) and read topics that had to do with my sexuality being a sin and shit like that. I then asked her if she would disown me now. I thought I never got an actual answer, because she repeatedly answered by saying "I don't and won't except it, that's all." even though I told her multiple times that wasn't my question. I then had to act as I was straight, because she somewhat forced/scared religious things onto us. She'd punch me or slap me across the face if I didn't feel like getting up for church, and she had sent several blows to my head later on the day I told her I was bisexual. I now go incognito as a nonbinary pansexual, so no one knows really. I'm sorry for the idiotic rant, I really needed to let it out of my head.

If anything this honestly helps in you long run because you can your story’s to others and give them hope that even though it will be hard you still knew what you were and you proud and strong about! This is such a greatly horrible experience! I have been to scared in telling my parents though....but it’s okay because I have friends who support me and a sister who try’s to understand! Stay strong and don’t lose sight of who you are!

For all the people asking what the difference between being bisexual and pansexual here’s and explanation: bisexual means that you love more than one gender this may or may not include non-binary people, pansexual means that you love girls, boys and non-binary people, it means that you don’t have a preference towards any gender. I know you’ll never see this...but this video was the single reason why I figured out my sexuality. I had seen pansexual before, but didn’t understand romantic attraction. After you explained it I was just like WOAH! I did some more research and came to terms that I was panromantic lesbian.
This video gave me the confidence to finally ask about what I’ve been going through lately... for the past few months I feel like I’ve been getting these feelings for more females around me (I’m 15 years old and female) but I’m still mainly ‘attracted’ to males. Im not sure if it’s an attraction towards them though. When I see a cute guy I get nervous (for only a moment) and my heart rate picks up but now I think the same thing is happening to females. I don’t know what’s really happening to me but when I think about getting in a relationship with a girl I imagine being happy, safe and comfortable to be in relationship with my own gender where I don’t have to be embarrassed about my body. I don’t know if I’m forcing these feelings though and making my self believe I’m having an attraction towards people as I haven’t had a real ‘crush’ on any one in forever and I want to be in a relation ship. but i have also only been looking at dudes my whole life. My friend even came to the conclusion that i could be gay but I don’t think I really know what love feels like though... I’ve been getting this urge for the past few months to buy clothes more suited for males (but I still feel comfortable as a female and maybe I’m gender fluid??) and I’ve been wanting to cut my hair extremely short but my mother won’t let me (cut my hair) because my hair is really thick and can frizz (that’s the same excuse she always gives me). My dad also tells me that girls with long hair are much prettier that girls with short hair but I think shorter hair is cuter in my opinion. I haven’t told anyone and I feel like somethings wrong with me or as if I’m broken... I just want to know what’s happening to me.. I’m extremely antisocial as well so I get socially exhausted very easily. Is it possible to find someone for me that won’t drain my mental battery so easily after one day? Is that even possible at this point? I just want someone to love and for them to love me..
I’m not an expert, but maybe you could be asexual bi-romantic.
As for short hair, I have very voluminous frizzy hair, and I have it cut right where my chin is, it’s usually more easy for parents to let you do that. But there are a lot of actresses (very feminine) with short hair, you could show your parents photos of them.
I don’t have any tips for relationships to, hell, I’m seventeen and I haven’t even had my first kiss. But as people say, you need to love yourself before you love someone else.
Also, until very recently I didn’t know what my sexuality was, just be patient, and don’t close your mind completely. One day the complete realization will hit you.
Hopefully not like a truck like it did for me, but it will come.

@Thomas McGill The sad truth that being gay is illegal in 11 countries (2015 statistics) and you can get fired or kicked out of your rental home in over half of the us states purely for being in the GRSM community, and we're kinda getting close to fixing that and reaching ya know, equality. We're human too, most of us, like 99%, are perfectly law abiding citizens, we just want you to treat us such.
@Thomas McGill you can legally marry in many countries without the couple's genders affecting the action, sure, but marriage isn't a big part if life to everyone and the church changes slowly. In Finland the priest can still refuse to marry a same sex couple, even if they fit all the criteria (consent, baptised, which also means that they're over 16 years old, not legally married to anyone else), but if we switched that to a hetero pair, same ages and everything, except they're hetero and not white, the priest would get fired for discrimination if they refused to marry them. Sure, there's the purely legal way for that then. It doesn't change the fact about discrimination outside of marriage. The education is lacking in these themes, a lot of kids end up feeling somehow broken, even though there's nothing wrong with them, people are scared to come out and be open about it, that makes them, us, feel miserable. People kill themselves because of that fear, people end up suffering with depression and/or anxiety disorders because of that fear. The world accepts us better, so people fear less, we've had elementary school kids come out of their closets, that's f***ing amazing! They get to live their lives truthfully from so much earlier along. It's a good idea to be proud about ones accomplishments, it hasn't been long since being gay was a mental disorder, previously even illegal, in the US and Europe. It's been about 20~30 years. By making gay people visible, teaching people about how it works, the science community got interested, they did studies, people got more educated and as result, more accepting. It's about accomplishments and visibility.
