The lounge, the food in it, about Emirates A380s, how the crew are so friendly when welcoming you in your compartment, all the wonderful amenities and things you can do inside your first class compartment such as inflight entertainment, the window control and seat/bed control! The bathroom on the plane, the bar in the sky, the food and drink you get on the plane, and your opinion on it was very useful, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It must be a luxury travelling in First Class, especially when its way more affordable than it normally is!

I traveled from Istanbul to Dubai on an A380, last month. What an amazing aircraft it is. You bought back great memories with this Vlog so thank you. Emirates are reasonably priced for First Class compared to many other airlines. The only thing is the land portion, a lot of other airlines designate someone to escort you through the process of check in and take you to the plane or lounge. Emirates First Class lounge in Dubai is beyond amazing. Cheers Rory.
I totally agree! I've travelled A380 a couple of times with Singapore aiways from Melbourne to Singapore a few years ago. It is the BEST aircraft ever built!

Thanks again Rory for another detailed video. Another vlogger recently reported on the same flight in first class. The lack of caviar was noted and the vlogger noted that the catering was more business than first class (on this particular sector of course). But the food you were served looked authentic enough for first class ! FYI Etihad recently brought back the A380 and initially it will be limited to the London route. The Residence class returns but minus the butler.
Yeah I’d say the food and beverages are definitely first class. Would love to try out the residence one day! If Etihad could also make it more affordable 😅
I took a round-trip flight on this sector a few years ago. Yes, the shower was the most unique product of Emirates & is highly impressive & unforgettable. I think Emirates have suspended First Cls on this route for a while but it's glad the service has resumed now. Looking forward to seeing more incredible airlines service 😊

Flew to Manila with my wife last March on Emirates from Manchester business class. We were both amazed by Emirates customer service, this includes ground staff which was so helpful. Even though Emirates is polished experience we prefer Cathay Pacific business class because we can do Man to HKG direct

Excellent review Rory and what a steal price wise. Emirates get some negative remarks on their old cabin with the gloss walnut and the gold bling, but passengers are mainly interested in the food and wine to make it better than club / business. The lounge buffet circular thing looked exceptional, thanks for doing a bit of everything on the hot menu. So many choices You can tell I like eating.
One great advantage of the thicker wall on the A380 is it makes the cabin enormously quieter than any other plane I've flown on. But, yes, the view suffers.
Another very enjoyable review. I've been lucky to fly Emirates First over a dozen times, and it is superb. Just out of interest, did you ask if amenity kits were available? I understand on short flights they are not offered, but may be available if requested.
Eva Air ( Taiwanese airline) Also has a 5th Freedom flight from Europe. I experienced this with a Flight from AMS to BKK, with the flight continuing onwards to Taipei with new crew a few hours later.

My main camera is go pro, and I use the Sony ZV-E10 to film the food. I bought it because it was more affordable than many other models, but the camera lacks in-body stabilisation, so I couldn’t use it when walking around. I Would’ve definitely bought a better camera if I knew

Awesome! How did you manage to do all that in 3 hr flight? I have flown business 3 times on the JFK-MXP route which is around 7:30-8:30 hrs and I feel like I can’t never do everything I want. I’m scheduled to fly them in first EWR-ATH in November but it’s on the 777; I can’t wait!!

Although they don’t offer limo to every city they fly to They do offer limo on flights from Bangkok to Dubai I feel like it’s more of a cost issue as normally a first class ticket would cost around $5k, and bkk-hkg and chc-Syd are way cheaper.

It was like $50 USD extra, so I jumped on it. What a difference!

Yes it’s the footage of the ground. I think there’s a camera at the bottom of the fuselage.
