Yep! It is the most original 46’ I’ve ever seen. It is the standard issue with the solo seat and plain front fender light. Still has the original black paint, which was the majority of 46’s. The only other option was a dark ocean blue I believe. The Indian face horn was mounted between the down tubes on the front crash bars and still has the six volt battery. Not much do dads on them, just recovering from WW2, steel was scarce, along with paint and pigment. Re-tooling took a while to adapt in factories from the war effort and returning US soldiers had to be trained on new jobs. New for 46’ Chief was the front forks. The Engineers got the idea from WW2 military aircraft landing gear. Combined with the spring action that is incorporated into the rear of the frame, made a soft, smooth ride for the Chief compared to its competitor the Harley-Davidson Knucklehead. 😊❤

It's wonderful to see an unmolested treasure like this. I'm glad to see that it's in good hands. As an aside; I normally can't stand music over motorcycle videos. But the choice of music for this one was very appropriate. It enhanced the work, and I actually enjoyed it.
