@@billywillimson899 definitely not hard to understand that but how some people struggle with suppler hook links is, because when I was carping and we scaled down me and my mates used to knock long stick mix's up in 15mm PVA and pull the hook link through from a quarter of the way up the stick or put a very small ball of PVA wrapped pellet on the hook to pull the hook link straight when you hit the clip and let the waight pull the rod forward like the match fishermen do and can't remember any of us having problems with tangle's
They used to do a PVA liquid that you would coat your supple braid with, it dried hard and would melt when in water. I might have to give these a go.👍Just googled it and they still do it,Kryston no tangle gel.
Game changer 😂 don't make me laugh, Godmans have been doing these for years, another tackle company guna take credit for something they've basically copied 👏
It's all well and good getting a supple rig laid perfectly straight but afther carp feeding round the rig and nuisance fish picking it up it's a waste of time and money.Plus if you test one in water they curl up a bit when they dissolve.I tryed them years ago when they first came out as a unbranded product.
So, the only draw back I can think of is redoing a rig after a Nuicence take or bird etc - the rigs going to be wet. I don’t fancy a new rig each time you’re putting your rods out 🤔
It’s not a bad concept but I agree with you mate I’d rather just use a really stiff boom 👍 starting to get a bit ridiculous now all this extra stuff 🤔 taking all the fun out of it. Don’t get me wrong i love my tackle but I’ll not be buying these.
It's a good idea if ur on a lake where u don't get birds diving down on ur bait and if the first nibble lands you a run if not your going to constantly changing rigs just use stiff boom resets every time and doesn't tangle on the cast and I noticed a few people saying it's getting nuts the amount of new tackle coming out be it must be fun for them to sit there blanking sayin I just like to be out it's not about the fish ... bollocks if it helps catch more fish then get on it but I think this pva boom depends on the type of lakes you fish and u should have multiple rigs ready to change over as fish can in you swim then disappear just as quick so for me it's 50 50
I found with the PVA booms they buoyant so hold the hook link up and once melted drops the bait on the weight or line. Not saying it does it all the time. But yes it's stiff but its very buoyant so doesn't just lay on the bottom flat
Booms look interesting, If honest I laughed first but actually not a bad idea, bit unlucky on the spawning Luke but no blank! Oh, and also I know you're not good on organising but what happened with the socks? 🤔😅 Tight lines🎣
Like the sound of the pva booms but I really with tackle companies would do more about the packaging and take a leaf out of the omc range for example. I get it’s not always feasible but every little helps 🤜🏻
Thirty odd years ago we used to tie reed stems to the hook link with pva string for casting this avoided tangles. Are these modern day anglers running out of ideas and solutions?
Seen these about years ago, nothing new just a gimmick that you really don’t need if you know how to hit the clip. And when it is on the lake bed after melting a fish could disturb your rig so each too there own!!
I'm thinking these might help for casting back out in the early hours tho when not clipped up because of a leader ban; well, unless you've got a lighthouse beaming across the lake...
If i was a dedicated angler fishing for a certain fish which was at the limits off my casting 🤔 I might use this ! Other wise using this from the word go is not going to help you when you run out or forget them and don't know how too cast and feather your rig .. basics first ! Tight lines
If your Rigs not kicking out or slightly curved from your cast you should be asking yourself why in the first place not buying another product to make your rig kick away in the first place... once something has gone for your rig geuss what it's not reseting then if it isn't on.your cast so what's the point in these atall?
A competent angler shouldn’t need this crap to stop tangles…
Looks like something else made to trap the angler
Don’t like it don’t watch or comment? Didn’t think it was that hard to understand?😂😂😂

Good idea but the rig will not reset as well as it would with a stiff boom after ejected takes and bird pick ups.

Interesting, never come across them before. Cheers

Nothing at all to do with Luke but … c’mon, stop dumbing down our sport …
No good as straws !
Be interesting to see the booms in a tank test.
Haven't other companies been making these for years already? 🤔
yeah like the boom idea, I'll be buying some., Ignore the trolls.
Maybe something for long distance but for an underhand throw it is a bit nonsense. Oh well , they don't know what to do to make money out of madness .
Tie a decent rig and learn to feather your line.. it's not rocket science, people will buy any gimmick these days
LoI I approached a company years ago about this idea. Was told it would never happen or be relevant. What a shame should have put a patent on it !
Your voice is like a warm glass of milk fell asleep !!! Had too watch 9 hours later great video and products bit more energy needed I suggest
Hardly new this was produced by Godman angling 5 plus years ago as used by Jim Shelley on his posts

100%
Learn how to cast instead. Its much cheaper. 😆

I’m sure these boys just do this for the comedy value now 🤦🏼
Whats the coffee strainer your using in this, looks a great bit of kit 🤣
love the idea of the pva booms, shall invest in some of them, shame about the carp spawning but still a great vlog Luke,
😂😂😂😂
Excellent 👌 video mate
Wonder if you can slice them lengthways, so you don't have to remove the hooklength from the QC swivel...
What’s with the odd socks

april fools?
Has there ever been a fishing video made without a clip of making a tea or coffee 😂
Giving these a try 💪🏼
@@carpologytv if it’s curly, it’d be a cider! 😂
@@carpologytv Part of carp history the art of making a brew and it wouldn't be a video without it👍. Always enjoy the videos anyway.
Brilliant video mate! Greetings from Michigan U.S.A

I have one strand of their original, super stretchy PVA string, that I keep in my tackle box. The tubes look ace!
Nothing new Krystan brought out pva glue that did the same thing .
the booms are 24mins in and only 6 mins long , shame was looking forward to hearing about these

Or spaghetti 🤣
@@Tjw1 Don't say that, someone will take you seriously! Carpology are losing all credibility
@Tjw1 I quite like the idea of pva stringing a bit of cheap spaghetti to a supple hook length... Not only biodegradable, but edible. And cheap!

Seems like a good bit of kit, no wondering if it's presented properly after the cast, good content luke 👍
Been using the booms for few years now, very good bit of kit but think about it and how it can be used !
What reels are you using on your 9 footers please?
does/will pva poison the water over time?
Used for years from Godman angling 👍
Love the compact double pva
Good vid 👍
well handy
10 per packet 😂
what's the coffee maker, looks good 👍
@@carpologytv cheers Luke, will get me one of those 👍

What happens if you don’t get it in the right spot would it melt by the time you wound in because nobody is a perfect caster
Would be nice to see you fish a proper lake , say 50 acres… bloody garden ponds lol 😂
