Shiro it really depends. If you end up with locs, make sure you have the right products. And that it doesn’t get dry or they gone fall out. And to make sure the don’t get too heavy on the ends if you decide to grow them out

I went swimming for a last day feild trip for 8th graders, and when I got out the pool my hair had really good curls and I didn't have to do anything

I’m a straight hair guy and it takes 15 minutes to do my hair and it be looking smooth af, just get some hair wax, apply it after a shower, if you’re in a hurry blow dry it and if it’s a windy day or you need extra hold use some hairspray that isn’t so strong and if you want you can be done in 4 minutes.
And have a god barber, get skin fades and you’re good
