SGL on Accelerating Innovation - A Conversation with Senior Leaders of the Defense Industry

The latest presentation of the Naval Postgraduate School Secretary of the Navy Guest Lecture (SGL) Series welcomes Mr. Robert J. Stevens, Chief Executive Officer, Lockheed Martin (2004-2013) and Mr. William H. Swanson, Chief Executive Officer, Raytheon (2004-2014) to campus for a unique perspective on accelerating defense innovation.
Hosted by NPS President retired Vice Adm. Ann Rondeau, U.S. Navy, the conversation provides NPS students with the insights of two senior defense leaders on the critical topic of rapid innovation in the defense sector. This SGL was captured on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 on the NPS campus.

I was in EW training at the naval station at Pensacola , FL. In 1985. Since that year is in Cold War period. We have very strict military protocol at that moment years including defense industry. This two speaker inspiring me back to 1985. Thank NPS invite them to share their views to encourage the young officers students toward the right path to contribute our country. Thank NPS president for your efforts to promote and integrate all of the necessary concepts to build US more stronger.
