Graeme Hick, LEGEND ...
Yes,in county cricket.😊
Thanks a lot Sean,i remember requesting this innings of Hick in your other posting of Hicks 80 in the ashes 93,any chance you have Hicks 176 in the Mumbai test 93?That was Hicks best Test Innings along with his 96 against Westindies in 1994,i think Hick played some wonderful innings against South Africa,he averages really well against Donald and co..what a player..

@@vishalr6535Yes brother. What an upload
The English Hero of World Cup 1992, He played One of The Best Match Winning ODI innings of English Cricket in target chasing (113 vs West Indies, 1991) against great bowlers Marshall, Ambrose, Walsh & Patterson.
He was unfulfilled talent which can be a ODI great. In Carlton & United series 1999 he made 320 odd runs at an exceptional average of 64 but World Cup 1999 proved his last appearance.
Fairbrother was another example of how in worst way English selectors treated Robin Smith, Graeme Hick.
Hick & df bat- made for each other
178 actually, brave innings had no VCR at time, watched live early morn on spin conducive tracks. England were outplayed that tour. Hopefully someone will find it (been looking, also Chris Lewis century).
Both are online now.
Am I the only one who thinks Fairbrother's technique looks like a mirror image of Bradman's?
He was a brilliant player. I got chatting with him at Ramsbottom CC when he was playing for the PCA a few years ago. Lovely guy
