    Very nice. A fine example of a hardware-free closure. Thank you.

      @@strangerwithscience3597 I made that comment 11 months ago you are the only one that said any thing ,are you one of the 12 thumbs downers ,there is nothing in these videos that mark dose that deserves thumbs down they are well explained tells you what materials you need ,the only thing he doesn't do is tie the knot for you, that's just my opinion

    Can I just say I'm Australian but have never heard or seen this belt! 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️ Great video, clear instructions, and now I'm off to buy some paracord 🤗

    Very good video, my only struggle was at the end with the round braid and the end knot. I don't know if my end knots are turning out well, but it holds so I'm happy

    Mark, please explain what an average waist size is. Are we talking US, India, South America, Australia. 1960’s, or now?
    Your videos are awesome and have been working on several projects mixing and experimenting with several of your knots. Thanks for sharing.

      I am left with 6x 3.5ft of cord after deciding it's enough for a 36-38in waist belt.
      The next time i make this belt again i would use about 11ft cord instead of 14ft.
      It's a great video nonetheless.

    Love the tutorial but where do I measure from/to to determine the proper length?

    • @Paracordguild
      @Paracordguild  6 місяців тому +1

      With a regular belt you usually have an odd number of holes. Lets say 5 or 7. You would measure from the middle hole to the buckle/knot. So, pick a hole that will be the main one, and measure from that to the buckle.

    Now my ADHD brain is just going to have “undered” and “overed” playing over inside my head in his voice. Also “to do” instead of through. It was a good tutorial though lol.

      I followed the tutorial and made a belt using homemade stinging nettle cordage. It’s a little rough and fuzzy but I like the look of it and am really proud I could make it turn out.
