- In this one we take the stick bait to a whole new level! I got a 3D printer to help me make a perfect prototype lure. This will then be cast to make awesome tuna baits and striped bass lures! Hope you guys enjoy!

All the thumbs up my dude 👍🏼 just seeing this for the first time and would love a follow up.
I like the design a lot 😄 unfortunately there is no follow up video 😔 so if you didn't get to mould making yet, having the 3D rinter I would just sugest to print to negatives (left and right) for the silicone mould, instead of trying to make one out of this master, the outcome would be much cleaner and more precise 😉
Agreed, could also make indexing keys printed right in
This came out so dope, little bit of a process but the results are worth it for sure. I can’t wait to see that finished product, I’ll see you on your next vid 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thanks bro! Stay tuned!!
Cool stuff bro watching an idea become a reality. Looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks man! Stay tuned!!
This is dope dude. Can't wait for the next video!
Thanks Bro!!!
We still waiting for Part #2.
Amazing idea
Thanks bro!
Have you figured out the buoyancy of this? Lure looks gorgeous.
Thanks man! Yea i really love the shape of them. I’ve tested the buoyancy a few different ways. Right now the idea is just get them floating and then adjust with internal weights.
So cool Jasper. I’ve watch a bunch of you videos in the past few years. I’d say you definitely took this to the next level.
So awesome , I’d love to try one of these new lure you mad. Let me know where I can buy one from ya. I can pick it up when I go to the canal in a few weeks , please ?
ARBO , your Northern Maine fan. Tight lines to ya buddy. Hopefully have tight lines with ya.
Thanks bro! I’ll keep you posted as they progress some more! Canals coming soon!
Where have you been
Hi Jasper, what resin did u use?, i want to try one directly from printer, do u think it will sink?
I am a bit confused, did you make a plug (lure) to fish with, or a plug to make a mold to make fishing plugs (lures)? The word plug having 2 meanings is making a bit confusing right now. My brain hurts. Irrrreguardles, its sick, and I am stoked to see how your channel has changed and more stoked to see where its going.
So first off thanks for the love!! So I use lure and plug as the same meaning personally lol. This particular “print” was just to get a perfectly engineered Lure “master” in order to make a mold of it to produce production models that can be fished. I can’t print a lure with the thru wire and weights so once I have the mold made (from the master 😉) I can then lay in the wire and weights and use resin that will float. But to get the perfect shape it needed to be 3D printed first. I hope this helps clarify a bit more and if not the next video should help! Thanks again for the support man!
I'll take one.
Soon!
I hope 😵💫
Hey, Jasper. Hope you're okay. It has been four months since you 3D-printed the stickbait prototype, and I thought you were one a roll, eager to start molding. Please let us know that you've been fishing your heart out on the boat and had to put the lure project on hold. At a time when CO'VID is still a serious threat, it's natural to be concerned about people who drop off the radar. All the best, Chris
Thanks for the love Chris! Still here!! ANd yes just fishing NON STOP on the boat. Summer time I run charters so it got pretty crazy very fast! I will be making some updates as soon as I can though! Thanks for the support bro!
I am not at all convinced, you can not manage the weight, you still have to make the cut for the armor and it takes too much time.Although not perfect, pouring the resin is extremely faster and less complicated, you can manage the weight and armor, through wire and leads you can already insert the mold, then lose 10 minutes to finish is not important
