Correct. It is still pen and paper for most visitors. Some eligible travellers only have access to the new online form but it is still under trial. Hopefully they will implement it soon for everyone.
If your laptop is worth more than AUD $900 and was purchased less than 12 months ago, you should declare it on the incoming passenger card. Customs might ask you what you’re carrying…..just explain it’s your personal laptop for everyday use. In most cases, they’ll let you pass without any issues. If they decide to check, they’ll just take a quick look. You may only have to pay taxes on the value above AUD $900, but that’s uncommon for personal-use items. Always better to declare it to avoid penalties!
Hey bro just came to Sydney two weeks back. As far as the laptop thing is concerned you don't really have to declare that because they hardly check it but they are more concerned about any eatables and medicines that you might bring over here.

i didn't understand point number three on deceleration card about goods. like i have a laptop after conversion it would be 1300 AUD should i declare
