So the very cool idea of the Castamere level was that *Very Minor Spoilers for A Song of Ice and Fire ahead* in the books the Reynes of Castamere were a noble house that refused to pay back large sums of gold they had borrowed from the Lannisters. After an unsuccessful battle against the Lannister force, the Reynes hid in the mines of Castamere, and Tywin Lannister sealed all the entrances, and flooded the mines, ending House Reyne. In the first part of the level we get a rendition of the Rains of Castamere from the show, and then in the end the rising lava is supposed to represent the flooding of the mines. When you outrun the lava in the level you become it's titular "Castamere Survivor". Very cool use of SMM2 elements to convey a story and also just be a fun level for those who don't follow the books/show. Also, @ryukahr it would be great to see your like/dislike/reasoning why at the end of each level, the star/no star decision at the end of SMM1 was always interesting and insightful. It would be great to see it return for SMM2.
It's the Best Mario game for me. 2D Mario is classic and ingrained in Us but in the end, it's oldy 2D. We always see in 3D so a game nodding to all the classics yet giving Us so much freedom and scope in a fully realised World was a huge advancement in Mario gameplay.
Instead of luring the boo to kill the piranha plant with the cannon, you could have placed the spring on that little ledge to bounce the spike ball over to kill it.

What a clutch finish! I really like that you took your time, reconned as much as you could, figured out a strategy, and then practiced what you could of the challenging bit. Nice to see someone put in the effort of following a process and have it pay off.
I don't watch "Game of Thrones," but from what I read, the last season got ahead of the book series. So it was all original content from the show writers, rather than from the guy who wrote the books.

I dont know why ppl make those normal speedrun lvls. The music lvl was a good speerun lvl that punishes u for beeing to slow without setting u on timer so if u dont hold right at the start u litterly cant beat the lvl

No longer was there a travel time, ppl got plot armor, Deus Ex Machina started to save people and all the cliches of series writing became a thing. I quit after that season and haven't even seen the last one.

still that trick was neat and unique and it suited the ghost house level
Part of the level was a ruse and a complete waste of time so even if that was the intended solution the creator seemed to want to confuse the player.
