Never understood why people say this because it isn't like Netflix can compete. These smaller labels, groups, etc can put out more sets from lesser known talents. It's like saying the pool can hold a lot more water than the bathtub these days. And there is still some good stuff on Netflix, not a lot but you could be passing up on a chance at a good time. Sheng Wang has a great special, Sweet and Juicy. Mo Amer's first special Vagabond is really good. Deon Cole's Charlene's Boy is great and has a beautiful moment at the end.
Ali Wong, Anthoney Jeselnik, Tom Sugura. Just off the top of my head. If you don't think Netflix has any funny specials, you're probably just not funny.
'Turns out if you're accustomed o privilege equality feels like oppression. Who knew' brutally brilliant. Also the conversation with an old mate bit was spot on.
I watch loads of comedians on UA-cam, it’s mostly funny and I enjoy listening to their voices, but YOU. I’m blown away!! I don’t know you, you are sent from above for sure. Saying you are hilarious is an understatement. I’ve felt my heart irrigated with joy, every aspect of this special was perfect, omg I’m getting emotional you are amazing
Had a really good time listening to this. I’m feeling a bit under the weather and it was the easy listen I needed. You guys made my night again! Thanks for sharing!
When my kids got me so riled up that I said that is just stupid they said you're calling me stupid, I said no I'm calling what you did stupid. You are a bright and know better.
You don't HAVE to apologize for being upset on being bitten. It's enough to just scream out in pain, that'll shock him so he'll stop (hopefully), in pain and anger you shout at your bitten area until you are calm enough for him to see how you're doing. It'll mess him up real good. And you're calm enough to keep your civil voice. My mother used to do that when I was a child and broke something. She was DEVESTATED. "Oh no! This is my favourite cup 😢 And it's all smashed 😱". Holy fuck that seared in my heart. Even if (if) by accident those raw emotions from someone I cared about >.< It still effects me 26 years later. When she calmed down; "...Well it's a good thing that you told me". I'm super honest and very careful with others' things 👍 You can't defend against other's pain. Can't argue against it. You can only suffer with them. Plus it's good for you to let loose. Teaches the child how to handle emotions as well. Win win, you bitten bastard.
it’s been officially added to my playlist of standup although this may be more of a ted talk. or maybe a stuart yap or something whatever thanks anyway i love you bye
8:37 Understanding the British class system. The details are baffling and require some study of accents, neighborhoods, Wales, Jersey, education, relatives, father’s mother’s relatives…. It is almost as hard as understanding US race relations.

@@Itsant33 are you Netflixs burner?
"More than" implies that Netflix is a viable source for comedy.

Powerfully funny.
Another game buster. at first i was like, who is this and then i was like, he is funny. i was cryin at the parent jokes the wife asked me if I was ok.
same for me. i havent heard of him and he got me good with the marathon bit. I wasn't crying but ur wife did ask me if I was ok
Refreshingly different from the usual. I like the cut of his jib!
I also have a friend in Bristol! XD
i'd never had my life described to me so vividly, minus the parenting bits.
Also, hilarious
All I can think of when reading the title is the Hamilton quote

You lost me in the first minute when you mentioned privilege. Stop it
It's a joke. Have you ever considered growing a sense of humour?
Look at this motherfucker; you think he's not had a few privileges? Nothing wrong with that?
He still in the closet lol 😅
Lame

Thank you for proving how bland the English palette is
