What's the difference between the standard SA58 and a Voyager? There's quite a price difference between the two.
quality more than likely. I imagine a better lower receiver and better metal/reinforcements on the receiver, and paint too
As far as I know the receivers are made exactly the same with exception for the finish, this one is gray, the higher end one has a black duracoat or cerakote finish, also the stocks are surplus and some show more wear than others, but most people say theirs is still in great condition, the Holland sight on this one is not adjustable, and this one may have the three prong flash hider.

Raymond Mccomas we in argentina use a modernized fal in the army,a friend of mine joined the albatross (the argentinian marines) and he said me some time ago that it was reliable and super accurate but heavy,the thing that you need to remember is that this fal is another version of the original,maybe they aren’t so different,hope this comment helps
the Voyager is the ras 47'S of the FAL world. the reason it's priced lower than other offerings from DSA is because the receiver is cast metal and other parts. You'd be better off with buying a PTR for a .308 battle rifle
@RoughneckMP thank you for your suggestions and your insight, and it just so happens I do reload my own, it offers Superior control with all ballistics.
@@joshadams7542 Unfortunately as far as I am aware all DSA rifles (and their individual receivers) are cast at this time.
@@joshadams7542 Imbel type 2 FAL use Cast recievers. Brazil still uses them. They work fine. A cast FAL is far different than a cast Kalashnikov.

I got one of these used and it was already in a tactical configuration: I’m unsure if I should turn it into a traditional FAL style or go further tactical (since I do want the rifle to be as effective as possible). Any opinions?

Keith's tech did MAC have his gas block unadjusted which caused all the failures?
Twizzler Wizzler Mac stated in his video he used literally all gas vent positions with no luck, DSA later responded under his video and said it was a magazine well machining error.
