The Iron Monger suit was totally badass IMO. It was perfect!
I like it.
I wish it was a little more streamlined and less clunky looking like the Mark 1, considering they had more resources to build it than Stark did in the "cave".
But yeah, it was a cool concept
They nailed everything about this movie.
The original chrome Iron Man suit shot with the control surfaces test still looks better than the nano suit stuff of Endgame.

But the only flaw was they replaced Rhodey
Hard to believe this movies production was a complete train wreck and they made most of it up as they went. They literally had the whole crew on set ready to shoot while they were re-writing scenes in their trailer. Can't burn money faster than that on a film set. It's a miracle it turned out ok at all. The MCU almost didn't happen.

And then Iron Man 2 happened............which was going to make a profit regardless of it's quality, but still a massive disappointment.

That kinda makes me think if he was a good guy and he teamed up with Tony I wonder how that battles in Infinity War and Endgame would've gone he may have helped the Avengers defeat Thanos quicker than they did in the actual movies
Billinggsley was playing the long game, he knew from day one they were gonna call him for later movie so he had them age him up so that when the day came he'd look the same.

loved the more practical approach to stuff than cgi

You did an awesome job designing it, too, with the blonde hair, great legs, and realistic movements. And the prop looks great next to the thing on the wall with the blue lights.

He was getting $10 million for the first one and then the next movie they told him he was making $500K for double the work, cause he wasn't important since the movie did well. An already established actor it is not very important for fame as it is for a better paycheck and award recognition, they could care less about the role.

We didn't get to see Terrence in Iron Man 2 for "Next time baby". I liked Terrence as Rohdey more so in the beginning and hoped he'd return for Iron Man 2. Don Cheadle took the role at pay cut for $1M and grew into it over the next five movies with a pay increase.
So he was wearing upgraded Enclave armor whole time.

Think it woudl've been cool if the Mandarin was the villain for the first movie and they did like a Doctor Strange type ending where it sets up Iron Monger for being the villain in IM2. Or maybe Stane was the villain the whole time but when the Mandarin betrays him it sets up the second film or what not. He get subdued into passiveness at the end of the film, once again standing in Tony's shadow, and then starts plotting for IM2.

@@ninjakerrin3477 yes, but any actor can do that. when you look at RDJ playing iron man, you dont say "oh RDJ was good as iron man" you say "RDJ IS IRON MAN" do you say that about terrance howard? almost every other marvel hero with the exception of hulk, because litterally anyone can play that role,and they litterally changed it from ed norton to mark ruffalo fits their character. terrance howard is a bit too soft spoken to be War Machine. he is good at playing street tough in movies, but he doesnt come off as a military person to me. hes too soft spoken, too lax. he just looks like a random actor in that role. you can tell when someone embodies a role, and someone is just palying the part. i dont even think don cheedle is good in that role but hes better than terance. and i love don cheedle. hotel rowanda was amazing.
