What the Floatater does is that, when you power it with Redstone, it moves. And it can move entire buildings or islands with it. You can actually make a fully functioning, flying End Ship with these things.
I live in Idaho and can 100% say that this is what it looks like. There is no ground, just a bunch of floating islands over an empty void. Everything is made of potatoes and finding diamonds, gold, and other ores is easy because Idaho is also the gem state.
I don't know why, but as a person learning Spanish as a second language it felt cool to automatically understand it without translation. Sucks that it's not a very good joke, but I'm just kinda happy that my two years of learning haven't been wasted so far.

I'm glad my very rough Spanish skills actually came in handy for once, I was able to figure out roughly what was said without a translation (though the translation is still helpful, my Spanish skills are pretty bad still)
@@masterdoge987 you could count the biome he's in. Middle grounds between biomes count as both biomes, and no going to a different Y level with your X coordinate staying the "same" (that's a whole other problem)

This is the first 100 days you've plaued where you've died on Hardcore. Any other playthrough where you died, you weren't on Hardcore, and on a hard ore playthrough, you've never died until this video.
Hey luke, the 'sweet spot' for monster farms is usually a bit above them because what happens is you unload chunks that would normally be spawning mobs and then leaving it so the only spawnable area is your mob farm. Hope this helps 13:45
Hey Luke, idea for another 100 days: 100 Days in Peaceful mode. I know it doesn't sound that crazy, but think about how much no hostile mobs changes things: No mob farm for EXP. No raids or zombie villager curing for quick emerald gains. No gunpowder for elytra rockets. It doesn't sound like a lot, but half the challenge becomes finding something decently entertaining to *do* without fear of death.

No Hostile mobs means no Iron Farms, no Villager infections, no raids, no mob grinders, and no Beacons, the challenge would just become finding something he can use to entertain himself (and us) while not having any major goals. Heck, you can't even get to the end in a pure Peaceful world unless you're like *super* lucky and get a 12 eye portal, in a Stronghold you'd have to stumble upon.

Im so happy you made this vid, a lot of these features in this potato update seem to be hints at future developments. The elytra recipe and the phantom spawning has me suspicious, as well as the gate to an alternate floating island dimension Very intriguing
My only concern about it is that some of these things will be difficult to implement on Bedrock Edition (Like the potato lash, floatater, and hot potato), so my hopes aren't very high. However, if any of these features roll into the main game, it'd be a fat dub for Mojang.
Luke! The ultimate weapon the mace has a fatal flaw. If you try to hit something and miss, the damage you could have dealt to the mob is passed to you. Meaning if you try to hit a mob with the mace at high enough that it would one shot the mob and miss, that's the end. So if you really want to use it, i recommend practicing on copies of your hardcore world and in the real one, only using it at small distances like 5 blocks as to do the damage but not risk dying. Just a little tip for the Tricky Trials update. Stay Notable
Something else worth noting is that you can’t instantly kill the mega spud with the mace because the boss has a damage block just like The King boss from the Orespawn mod.
