Looks like a good start. One caution; I'm told that acetone fumes are extremely flammable and can pool invisibly. Thus good to make sure your acetone is capped and the rag and acetone are well away from the welding area before you strike an arc.
Usually starting out just run the torch without filler and when you get used to that start adding the filler. Also you can drape the torch lead over your shoulder or on your lap and it will take a lot of the weight off of your hands.
You want to brush one way only. Going back and forth you put the impurities deeper into the metal. Miss you boo boo lol.
