Ouhhh this is a great idea. A game where we play as little Cereza and learn about magic, Umbra Witch and Lumen Sage is pretty awesome if you ask me. We can also dive a bit deeper into Cereza and Jeanne's friendship, her relationship with Rosa, and how this little Cereza became the sassy, confident and powerful Cereza we know today. Edit : LETS FREAKING GO!!!!!! Bayonetta Origin 2023
@My achilles heel isn't exactly any clear answer for the old picture book. It's either part of bayonetta 4's story or it might possibly be a spinoff like the other commenter said
For sure this is being added onto in the future. Looking at the blocked off paths with clearly interactive items? Probably gonna be little dlc snips or something added later
Okay this was cool af, the fact that “to be continued” has a question mark at the end saddens me a bit though, it’s like platinum games isn’t sure if Bayo 3 will get a sequel or spinoff for real. I hope Bayonetta 3 sells very well.
My theory is that the person who appears at 8:51 is Balder wanting to teach Cereza how to use q elements. He wants Cereza to become a lumen instead of an umbra. To that end, he brought Cereza to learn elemental magic from the fairies and fight a demon in 8:57.
There's spoilers, but it seems every version of Jeanne in the games was also from a different universe, and at least the ones from Bayo 1 and 2 still live.
I would love to see more of Cereza childhood and how she became Bayonetta we know today also !spoilers/speculations! i think continuation of this story will show how madama butterfly and cereza made their pact because its been stated in game they have bond that goes beyond their contract and its unknown how their contract was made to be so since bayo died and we will probably never see her as lead any time soon this mini rpg cloud explain a lot of things

So unrelated to the video but in one of the chapters I destroyed a sort of broken old version of one of those cube chests and it game me this like key or something but I have no idea what it is, it look like there are two other ones somewhere
There are 4 in total, in each Thule location. Together they unlock the secret mission very easy boss fight with golem from Bayo 2 mission rewards you with accesory

Is there a special condition to that? Bought the book rather early but could not figure out how to find keys for that and just kept going and finished the game. Now looked up the guide but there are no keys in the shown location. Little worried it's a bug or something
So. Dumb fun fact. After beating the prolouge of the book the game had forced into a situation where the a 14th secret mission opened up to the kraken. ...I thought it at first as a way for a nasty little jumpscare out of the game

And your theory was wrong.
Remember when Helena Taylor said "they might do a spin off game with her in it(Jennifer Hale) don't buy that either" I think she was referring to this
This Vigrid theme is so Amazing!
I had a theory that Jeanne never really died I think the thing Jeanne saw at the end was a vision of bayo 3 happening
There's spoilers, but it seems every version of Jeanne in the games was also from a different universe, and at least the ones from Bayo 1 and 2 still live.
She didn’t die in the ending of Bayo 3 she only returned to her time.

Grab and go. Its the same for verses, umbran tears and items too.
For some reason, I've gotten all the keys and unlocked the book way before I even started chapter 4- is this a bug???
No, they patched the game just before Bayonetta Origins for everyone to experience this demo before Origin's launch
