Ep 662 is one of the best episodes in the series. Just keeps getting crazier. Law's defeat, Straw Hats learn about Fujitora, Big Mom's ship pulls up, Sanji asks for permission to counterattack, and finally SABO!
Low-key some of my favorite parts of this arc is watching law get shot all the way up, like a scene from a gangster film. After hundreds of episodes it's just nice to see a gun actually being used as intended in the one piece world. I think we only see guns being used in flashbacks by arlong and spandams dad and that one guy lucky roux shot for shanks in the first episode.
The gun doflamingo used is the same model used by celestial dragons. So yeah it is a million time weaker than his attacks but he probably did that to punish Law the same way celestial dragons punished their slaves
What's even crazier is in a later episode Law removed the bullets and found out Doffy shot him with lead bullets instead of regular to remind Law of his white lad disease he had.

I might be wrong but I think Oda threw in Don Chinjiao in this arc just to contrast Chinjiao's nonsensical ridiculous grudge for Garp passed on to Luffy his grandson versus the whole country's very misplaced grudge against King Riku passed on to Rebecca the granddaughter. Any citizen who suspects the Doflamingo family is turned into a puppet slave.
