  • Healing your mind and how to heal your mind lies in this exercise of presence and an inner journey work process relative to your mind specifically. Many people in the self help, spiritual and psychologist communities focus on presence but Teal Swan digs deeper into what this means and how to do it.

+corsican lulu The bible is truth. The only problem was with its interpretation. It has been misinterpreted our whole life. The bible isn't some historical book but the psychological story of man's consciousness. Check out "Neville Goddard", and you'd realize that we had been misinformed about the bible our whole lives. You would come to find that the bible isn't what you thought it was. I too was in your shoes until my search for truth began. #One love

I had felt an another entirely different level of freedom the day I stepped fully into observer and detachment and the feeling I would never be manipulated again therefore no longer needed to worry about trusting others- only needed to trust myself

This is something I started to practice. I always let my emotions get the best of me and let it run my life. I always resisted it and fought against it. Funny enough it is about accepting these emotions and allow them to be there that is when you can be free of them.

Wow.. This is the first time I hear someone says embrace the energy of the mind.. All I've learned that it's "less than" somehow, and that I should ignore it and go to the body.
But this feels more authentic and compassionate.
Defenitely my head energy felt much better when I focused on it.. And had things to says also 😊.

There's definitely messages out there among well various... attempting to sell people on the idea that skipping the 'bad vibes,' or 'ignoring the suffering' to focus on the 'good' vibes or god or source, what have you and it'll go away. But actually, that is all just a cover up. We're meant to know our grief so we can heal through it. I had my own meditation session today for which was emotional, but I allowed myself to know it, to sit with it, to define it, to let it reveal me. But then it shifted and when I stood up I felt a little quieter, a little more soul at peace, one w/in. but i didn't use my space to change anything, I just gave myself space to be and feel. :D

This is legit. With guidance on my journey of self discovery, becoming 'present' and slowing things down for my mind to digest was the most important and healing of all. Focusing inward strengthens ones ability to self-reflect and understanding of the self, resulting in a much more calm state of being. Once in that state, one will learn to trust themselves and be confident with who they are, as a person with their own strengths and weaknesses.
It is like finding the map to navigate through life itself. I wish I'd been taught this as a kid.

i've learnt this, this year. to let myself be where i am today, being fully present without concern for who i was yesterday or who i want to be tomorrow. i seek to only fully be present and honor who i am today. it is helping me forge a deep trust and acceptance within myself.

After an emotionally painful experience, as time permitted, i naturally began to enter into the mind, and let it say and be anything it wanted - no matter how difficult to endure. Eventually, after months of occasionally allowing the inner-speech, I realized i was doing a version of "this" - and a version of what Buddhists call, "Compassionate Listening" (except applied to my mind, instead of another). When all the self-hatred was exposed (it took about eight months), slowly healthier thoughts and feelings began to enter. I didn't even "mean" to follow a process. But without the sequence, I can't imagine what would have happened. Scary to consider....... Patience to all.

    • @robpiy91
      @robpiy91 5 років тому +6

I feel that she's that attractive for a reason - she has to appeal to a great many people to accomplish her goal. And people tend to take something said by an attractive person well, more seriously (or they're completely repulsed by it, which might be a lesson she learned already).
It's also that she's in alignment with her sensuality which makes it hard to not notice her for me as a man (maybe for women too).
But the most attractive thing about her is her grasp of "self" which never ceases to amaze me. It makes me just want to see her grow.

Hi Teal. I woke up one morning 2 years ago and was different. I could see everyones emotions x 10000 deeper. I had to learn how to live with this like superman with his heightened hearing. Everything around me was to much to take in....so that I could not function. I did spirital teachings which explained a lot but not quite all. At the same time I was high and would get nauseous and then be low with a headache so low that I did not want to live in this world anymore with all I could now see. I have done self actualization, meditation with staying in the present moment and all your videos. I am at a strage where I have accepted that I am different than other people now but I am still not normal. Sometimes it gets so difficult that I do not know what to believe and how to act as everything has its paradox. I guess it is at this point that I need to accept that I am not normal and no one can help me as no one underatand and know what happened to me. Do you have any idea?

You can get trapped in the healing work, get hard-set on healing whatever it is, as if those things would need changing. Teal has talked about the Healing Trap, which I've been on for maybe 7 years and would still ve if it wasn't for her. So, thank you, Teal Swan.

@@lauralovitt787 we all have our own achilles' heels... individually.
One thing Teal once said, struck a real chord with me: "healing yourself shouldn't be some cruel requirement for you to have friends and loved one and feel like you belong... you should still be able to have those things in your unhealed state".
I don't know what's your reason to heal... but I'm interested. As for me... I don't know what the reason was to begin with for me, but it was loneliness and lack of real connection to someone, for a long time.
One of Teal's point with the healing trap was, that approaching yourself or the other person as if there's something wrong there with you or them, is unloving and thus you shouldn't approach with that kind of mindset to begin with. But instead ask yourself (via parts work perhaps), if healing is the thing you need or not and consider the "not" -option with equal base validity.

As much as I love ur messages, and I've gone through just about all of them, religiously, I've finally drew the conclusion the more I tried to work on myself, the more I need to heal, the more im deeper into my mental illness. It's the old saying, the more I focused on healing and doing the work to get there, the more I become illed. I was way more happier when ignorance was bliss. So the best thing I can do to love myself is to let myself live who I was born into this world as. This may not ring a bell for some but hell, life is too short. Goodbye my fellow sufferers. Excellent, focus on the mind, accept it as it is, real healing. I have been noticing lately that when I want to distract myself focusing on my mind instead is vastly more interesting....so the right thing at the right time as always.

I don't understand "you can't get life wrong" but also "you can live out of alignment" and "purpose" and "the universe doesn't know what you're going to create because you're on the leading edge"

If you haven't heard of somatic experience, do yourself a big big favor and research the piss out of it before you begin your *own* practice. I highly recommend doing this before or even instead of following what Teal is teaching here, no offense Teal. It was created by Peter Levine which is an important piece of information and so I urge you to watch his videos where he speaks about it for proper insight and instruction and also there are videos where you see the practice work for people in a matter of minutes. Somatic experience has absolutely amazing healing potentials, but first, educate yourself. Also, I would encourage you to use your own interpretations to develop a practice modified for you and by you. Someone "teaching" you what to do can cause conceptualization and make the practice frustrating and unsuccessful. I recommend learning about it from its' creator (so you can fully understand what's happening) and then applying what you learned into your own practice. In my experience this is what will most likely give you the best benefits. If you need more guidance, there are SE practitioners at places where you'll find trauma therapists or do a Google Search for them in your area. Good Luck!!
Teal-- Would you consider putting a link to the creator of Somatic Experience in the bio? It can provide your followers a wealth of necessary information not only to educate them but also to give them the best chance of success

I agree with what you’re saying, but even looking up the original “creator” of somatic experience is allowing yourself to be taught and have a pre-conception. So. I mean, unless you originally come up with this practice by yourself without ever hearing of it before, you’re being taught..

Hi, dear TealSwan, ever since I started on this consciousness path, I was able to tap so much into my consciousness and discover that I am Awareness and it all felt so good, but now my mind seems to be clamping down really hard, and it's like there's an entity in my head that's constantly over-reactive and causing all sorts of clenching or tightness in my body, it makes me unable to burp or fart or poop easily, it's amplifying the pain I feel from all sorts of things and feelings, and it's affecting my life really much. When I try to talk to this entity, I always get the same answers, it wants me to suffer, and the reason it is here is because of all the consciousness work that I did, and that it is killing it, so it wants me to stop, but I have already stopped for so long, almost weeks, but this entity is still here, and it's just making life harder and harder by the day, I'm like having constipation and bloating just from the fact that mind is so tight that it won't let me release, and my entire life is now centered around finding ways to burp and fart and poop. No matter how hard I try to make peace or be friends with it, it just stays silent, and gives me no answer, and whenever I even think about anything that's slightly triggering to it, like abiding in God consciousness, or meditating, or simply being jolted by sudden movements, and noises, it just goes absolutely nuts, and clenches up completely, making the top of my head feel like there's a clamp on it. I really need help on this, have you or anyone here encountered such a phenomenon before? And what would you guys recommend I do to put an end to this? Is there a way to come to peaceful terms with it? A way for it to just let go if I would stop the meditations? Do I just give it time to calm down? It seems worse and worse each day. Do I keep on practicing meditation regardless of how painful it is and maybe it will be gone forever? But it just feels worse and worse the more I do it, and it always comes back, and it feels wrong to be forcing things like this. I feel like my life is really going to end if I don't find any solutions, anyone who has any idea what's going on and what I should be doing, I would be so grateful to hear from you!

Do you know the emotion code and body code ? Search for that and get a practitioner they Will clear that for you. But the idea of suffering from my expérience comes from a deep sense of guilt there must be a belief system around that that the entity is feeding from. Hope you're doing well now..

I would have to add to this video that to truly understand to heal ones mind. One must understand the different dialogues (both conscious and subconscious) that are happening with our thoughts which come from the three different brains we all have and the functions they have in dealing with the experiences and feelings that come out of which can work for us or not work for us.
Because understanding that there is the;-
1). Reptillian brain, - Survival mode, fight or flight
2). The Limbic( Mammalian brain)- feelings and memory formations
3). Neocortex brain- Thinking, logic and reasoning abilities.
Will help one understand their own thought processes and with the most superficial brain of the neocortex doing essentially most of our bidding and work more than it needs to. Can help an individual see past that and help to heal knowing these processes are in place and essential we are not broken or damaged as human beings. Just have had damaging and broken experiences that have in some situations made one identify as that experience as who they are in life when the reality is not that actuality at all.

Kayla Jackson Thank you for your kind words. I actually have known these things for a while now. But it was Teal's video's and along with watching
David Snyder's NLP lecture video's that made me be able to put all the puzzle pieces together finally and articulate it in to what I understand now in life.

Thank you for uploading videos like this! I really appreciate how practical and understandable your advice is-so much so that I often use these techniques as I watch the video for the first time. The more common it is for people to lead hectic, frantic lives, the more important it is to do these kind of complete presence exercises and come back to the self.
