- In 1 Thessalonians 4:13 the apostle Paul tells the brethren, "we do not want you to be uninformed". As Christians we need to be growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and not to be swallowed up in ignorance. Being uninformed and ignorant in areas of the Christian life leads us to unnecessary grief.

What a sermon! Praise God for brother Paul, what an anointed preacher. Praise God for the truth of God's Word. Amen! Hope is alive forever in Jesus!!

Makes no sense, to me. Why would the dead in Christ rise out of the graves to meet Jesus in the air, upon his return. If all the Christians that have died, or are asleep raised out of the graves as Bible says. If they are with Christ, your theory would not agree with Gods word. Another problem I see, our Bible does not address. I don’t think God is so vindictive that he would allow the dead in Christ to suffer looking at this sinful world and our suffering families.
Hey there! I pray you are well and the love of God over you. If you look at the words of Christ to the thief on the cross, He tells him, “Today, you will be with me in paradise.” This is clearly before the second coming. In some mystery of God that I am not qualified enough to speak fully on, I take it that, when we die, our spirits are brought to be with Jesus in the presence of God in paradise until the time that the trumpet blasts. When Jesus comes again on the day of the Lord, that is when we will see the events in this text transpiring. When genuine Christians receive their glorified, resurrected bodies, transformed to survive the absolute glory of God and dwell in the New Jerusalem with Him and Christ forever.
Thank you! I was raised believing all the traditional beliefs we have been taught and are still hearing by many preachers. I never understood the love of God, and love of the word until I did bible studies with some seventh day Adventist. Praise God I studied and have faith that all 10 commandments must be kept. Sabbath is addressed many times in God word. Study also the state of the dead. 3 angels message on and on…..
