FYI - You do not have to do a long press to set memory 1-4. All you do is first recall the mem # key (lets say M3) that you would like to program. The current contents of M3 is displayed. Change the V/A values and then when either V or A input cursor stops flashing M3 is set to the new V/A values. Hope this helps.
how do i switch the unit from cc mode to cv mode when output is on ? seem to be stuck in cc mode and cannot manually adjust Voltage. need a quick answer if possible on a time crunch. thank you very much
@@ureviews thank you but it doesnt give any information on this question? I want the Amps to adjust basically as I adjust the volts in correlation with each other. so basically as Im hot as I adjust the volts, the Amps increase as well ,hope this makes sense.
@@ureviews I seem to have switched from contant voltage to constant current somehow and i cannot get back to what i need which is constant voltage when powered on. please help ..
@@messy0608 wait so you can't change the voltage? you switch between v and a by pressing on the voltage / current selection button, does it not switch?
@@ureviews thank you so much for your answers but i figured out the problem and it was user error. I had maximum current set as I was supposed to and was trying to exceed voltage but I didnt want to go over 2.2 Amps so it working as it was supposed to. Thanks again for your help and quick replies.
I have a $4 Harbor Freight multimeter, a Fluke and an Extech. Know what? They all read exactly the same except for the last digit whenever I measure voltage or current. I'd lay money on the table that he could be using an Agilent and it would read the same. The primary reason for spending money on a nice meter is CAT rating and being able to have a calibration trail for production.
Forgive my ignorance cause I'm still new to all this but if I accidentally made contact with the probes on the power supply, could it kill me? Should I use the green ground?
CIV EDM In my version, they put a small sticker over the switch. The sticker states that the device is set for 240VAC (which we use here) and what fuse it needs.
My Korad had famous crash issue even with the updated boards. I'm done with this Chinese junk. From now on, on keep on saving money to buy Rohde & Schwartz or similar high end equipment. Granted you can buy a complete lab with Owon or Siglent stuff for the price of just a Rohde & Schwartz power supply, but at least you don't have to worry about the equipment failing or, even worse, destroying anything hooked up to it. Chinese just can't designing anything decent.
I think you are a Multimeter snob :-p I think for 95% of the applications, the cheapo craftsman will do. I have another brand but, for a non calibrated unit it's good enough.

thanks for making this. It answered a lot of questions about things not mentioned in the on-line descriptions.

Thanks for the vid. I have been looking for something to replace my home built power supply. More tech videos please.
Excellent demo. Good.
like to see some basic tests like would it survive a short circuit from 30v? or v feedback spikes from a connected load
Can i ask ?
When the power supply work the fan work with it immediately or it is automatic and work after some hard work ?

How long have you had this power supply?
Please do a review / demo of the remote software control.
Thanks!

try doing load test of 30v at 5 Amps.. it will not work after 5mins
Very nice presentation, Could you please make a video on software
1.03V?
Where did you get a 110v version?
CIV EDM The Korad KA3005P is switchable. At the 0:58 mark you can see the switch above the power cord connector.
paxmowa I saw that but some pics I have seen, there is no switch in the back.

I've got a couple of videos on the software. Not really much to it.
Cómo se calibra?
Post a video response. I'll approve it.

You should calibrate this power supply first.

You are doing a review with a craftsman meter?
I think you are kidding.
