This is gonna be extremely helpful. A few days ago I was at camelback resort. I go to the Poconos for vacation alot! And I’m from nyc. But I might still take the car lol
I don't live in PA, but in MA. Despite that, I have friends in PA who are rooting for the project and support the potential these plans have. I am happy to see these much needed changes.
So happy about this. Really good step forward for this part of PA that doesnt typically get these kind of projects. We need more of this and less Dollar General in PA
@@PoconoTourism sure if you don't own a car, this is better than nothing. Although it's also an enabler that brings in more people to an area, which is not desirable to anyone other than a tourism board. Again, this should be high speed, not slower than walking. It's an ok start but definitely missed the mark.
We appreciate your feedback and passion about the train coming to the Poconos. You can following along with the progress of the project as well as a question and answer section that will be added to the site soon. poconomountains.com/rail
@@jaxsonhugh9334 ask any local in any tourism town - there are limits. The poconos have reached it, especially with all the NY / NJ transplants. So yeah, terrible idea.
Hopefully there's eventually restored Philly - Allentown - Scranton service in our lifetimes, as well
We have made great strides and have a lot of momentum to make this happen.
@@PoconoTourism And now strides have been made, don't let it stop! ❤
There's no stopping this train 😉 Thanks for your support.

Thanks for watching. We are excited about the opportunities the rail service can bring to the region.
@@PoconoTourism you’re welcome, I love the poconos
We're happy to hear that!

Thank you for your comment and support. We are very excited about this project as well.
Scranton should include so much skyscrapers with so much stories (floors) in Wall Street of Pennsylvania!🏗🏗🏗🏗🏗🏗🏙🏙🏙🏙🏙🏙🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

We love your enthusiasm! We are very excited about the opportunities this project will bring.
As a New Yorker, I'm looking forward to taking the train and visiting the area.
The train will be a great addition and we look forward to hosting you.
I can’t wait to ride this & I’m from the Midwest !!!
Us too. This will be an incredible addition to transportation in and to the Pocono Mountains.
3 hours each way - ok that's a non starter - this should be faster than driving into the city
It's certainly beneficial for people who don't own cars. This initiative will also help with traffic and efficiency.

Real estate will get alot more expensive
As with most development the likelihood is that incomes will rise as the job market becomes more competitive.
This boondoggle again.................way to waste money, Biden.

Getting the Amtrak from New York City to Northeastern Pennsylvania!🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅
We’ve got some great momentum going to make this happen.
