You ought to take the shaft out and replace the O-rings too, because they often leak. You'll also find that there's a bearing/spacer ring behind the flange on the shaft, and those can be broken or worn down to the point that replacing the other parts won't fix it anyway. In fact, those spacers have been the fault on two of my taps, and the repair didn't require the replacement of the discs at all.
When you remove the shaft, you can press all of those parts out in one go, just by pushing on the end where the tap fits. You only have to remove the clip. Why do half a job?
Thanks for advise and problem sharing
I have trouble removing that fat ring thing. Any tips?
You may need Slip joint pliers.Refer link video

I've replaced the sink faucet's ceramic washer but the faucet still drips. Any idea as to what's wrong with it?
Get wrong installation back or have issue with the tap valve.Try to reassemble
@@TonaziTube actually we had a plumber put in a new faucet for the sink because the old one was dripping. After 3 months the newly installed faucet started dripping. I replaced the ceramic washer and it would stop dripping, but a week later it would drip again. So far, I've replaced about 4 washers for 3 months now. I've done some research and it says the valve seat could be the problem? Sorry, I'm just ignorant with this thing. That's why I'm reaching out. Just frustrated. Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. 💯
Hope you can solve this issue soon.Difficult for me to advise without see the real thing happened.Just only try advise what I suspect and hopefully it can solve it.
@@TonaziTube you've helped me a lot. Thanks again.
