Yes good for you. God Bless for These Nurseries. In 1981 the first one in The US was in Bedford Hills Correctional Center in Upstate New York. There are Other Prison Nurseries which have been godsends. There was a Lady named Sister Elaine who worked actively on behalf of the Prisoners calling, bargaining making sure that The Mothers had Clothes, Furniture, Toys and other stuff for The Babies. Also, there's a Convent where Nuns care for Babies and each day they bring them to visit their Mothers in The Nearby Prison.
@@chloelouise304 they are in some places. I’ve had a good friend voluntarily admit herself to a unit at least twice because she absolutely trusts them and feels extremely safe there. This is in East London, which is generally a shithole.
Everything goes wells. Martin and Stacey get settled with a proper roof over their heads...Then Stacey decides to ruin it all with Max...again! Now like many female characters on EE she buggers off!
They never do this on US Soaps. Mother & Baby Unit, or how hard it is to readjust after being a Convict. Isn't it eerie Lacey Turner plays a Convict on Eastenders and then she plays one as Stella Crandall on Call The Midwife Series 3.
These units are so important, I spent five days in one when my baby was a week old and I will always be grateful to them.

Lacey Turner did fantastic in the mental health storyline
Did you know that in The U.S. there's a Dance called "The Wobble "
