Society6 does not offer an option to make a pattern, it will always stay at a single tile. You need to upload the finished repeating pattern. I already googled and searched UA-cam but I could NOT find any content on how to turn a single tile into a repeating pattern. PLEASE help! HOW can I turn my SINGLE tile into a pattern of many tiles (for websites that don't offer the option)? No explanation to be found anywhere!
If the flowers on the pattern are bigger do i still need to transform it into an svg first or just upscale it and use it on redbubble on the many products that fits in; I am a bit confused :) Do we always need to make them svg's;
I took off a couple of months from POD creating because I was so frustrated with how sales are so low right now. @@DetourShirts Could you do a "How To" video on creating just a basic simply t shirt designs? Remember the simple "Life Is Good" logos with simple stick figure drawings OR a Basic (Vintage RV, with a few tall pine trees, with a basic canoe leaning against the RV and a camp fire out front) Just a basic black outline drawing. I find it difficult to just do Basic when most the the Ai stuff is so Elaborate. Thanks for your videos :)

@@DetourShirts Could you please do a video on how to create our own stickers, our own t shirt designs without searching and going off someone else design?? I have tried to do this but i keep getting a Error message saying this tool isnt available??
THANK YOU for this! I started creating on Bing AI and I was totally thrilled with my results. THEN I read the fine print that I can't do anything commercial with the images. I was so bummed. I have tried all the other systems out there and Leonardo is the very first one that given me results that I am happy with!!!

I was just creating tiles on Midjourney, and this video shows up in my notifications. Very cool. Leonardo has very different results with the exact same prompts.

Subscribed because of this video -- thank you for explaining patterns; the step I was struggling with is exactly what you showed, how to scale images without losing quality -- upscalers are sometimes "meh" but translating to SVG and then putting the resulting SVG image on whatever size (in pixels) design you want and downloading as JPG or PNG was the missing step for me.
Two things to mention:
#1 Canva does not like SVG files bigger than 3MB so there's an upper limit on how much detail the image can have.
#2 You can save the design as PDF Print in canva so that you get 300 DPI, which is often better quality than PNG or JPG
Thanks for the tip... yes we definitely should watch the size.... If you are using it for Print on Demand you will need it as a PNG as they usually don't take PDFs... but otherwise yes PDFs are great

Do you happen to know if the PNG generated (for example) from a 20" x 30" PDF will in fact be sized the same size when printed?

do u usually - as a seasoned POD marketplaces seller - enable whichever product that fits the pattern, graphic, typography etc. that u created? is that better for SEO and the marketplace showing ur products more or the other way around?
Thanks for the nice comment. I do put my designs on all products that make sense. I don't know if it's better for SEO but I think it's just better for the customer. You never know if they want it on a different product.

Leonardo is good but I think Blue Willow is going to the Midjourney killer. BW more similar like MJ and it's completely free. Also Blue Willow quality of the images is also remarkable

Hi, as I have been binge watching your videos, you mentioned at one of them that more detailed image would be best to upscale and simple one vectorize. These patterns I consider them as more detailed but you vectorized them and turned into SVG. Did I get it wrong? For patterns, we should vectorize? One more thing as well, do you have any videos or guidelines you have for the dimensions of the designs to fit for all products in any platform? Thank you for your time and you’re such a very kind person to share your knowledge on all of these.
So yes, it is detailed but the thing about patterns, especially repeatable patterns is that when you vectorize them the get a little off and then they are repeatable anymore

Good question! As far as quality goes I heard Bluewillow may be better, I haven't run it through all the test yet... but I like the interface of Leonardo. It's so much easier to use and feels like an app instead of a plugin on a Discord.

I have a question to ask you. I have been confused about one thing for a long time.
Do we need to upscale an image separately to print it on different products? For example, if we are using 4500×5400 pixels to print on a t-shirt, can we use the same pixel size on all other products in the catalog as well? Or we will have to upscale the same image separately for each different product.
Great question.... you will have to look at the pixel dimensions for the products you are creating... If it's bigger than 4500x5400 than you will have to make your design bigger... but if it's smaller than 4500x5400 then you can just scale it down after uploading.... for example the biggest size on Amazon products is 4500x5400 so it will work for all products on Amazon Merch on Demand... that is not the case for RedBubble where they have larger products... I hope that helps

I haven't don it but I believe you go to the top left and click the dropdown that says Leonardo.Ai..... then click Leave Server.... try that

can u tell me how can i transfer the clothing of a real person onto a mannequin or a 3D character?
That would take a lot of photoshop knowledge.... what I would do instead (if you can find it) is to look for mockups with Placeit, Kittl or other places that already have a mannequin or 3D character and use the app to do it.

I have gigapixel, can I take the design from Leonardo and upscale it in gigapixel instead of using canva?

how to solve the error after first prompt and got the weird pic such as double eyes on some cats pattern or seamless pattern not be connected on part side of there ?
Create a different prompt and make sure to cal that out in the prompt.... just 2 eyes, etc.

Yes... It really depends what you can find.... where are the better results?...... MidJourney will keep the best results and then have a library that you will be able to browse and find something with the option to prompt if you don't find something

After carefully following your tutorial, I uploaded 2 resulting vectorized svg. images to Canva to resize them but received the response, "not compatible with Canva". Can you offer a solution, please?
You could try Affinity Designer, Photopea or Inkscape

This is a great guide for using Leonardo AI! Though I am having issues with RedBubble, as my account seemed to get restricted after uploading a generated pattern from Leonardo. Is this usual?

Can you make patterns from scratch - IE start with a blank canvas and add an animal for example and then create a pattern around ( and using ) that animal ?
You can with Canva, Kittl or Affinity Designer but I'm not sure how I would do in Leonardo

How do you do the patterns that don’t show lines when you grid it. You can see the lines on my designs. Does it have to be a svg file or can it be a 4500X4500 pvg file?

Hi, for digital patterns what type of files should be upload or share it with the customer. Do we need to share both png or svg or one is enough. Which is better for printing patterns. And is 4500*4500 with 300dpi good. Thanks
I still use PNG to upload to RedBubble and 4500x4500 is big enough if you are tiling for some of the bigger products like shower curtains.....and definitely big enough for Amazon products.
@Detour Shirts thank you. One last question. Though I would be uploading only on etsy for now. But is there a way or website to check the quality of the image png/svg that we have created so that we are sure it meets the standards for print of demand and would come out to be good.
Are you talking about if it's clear or pixelated?.... If your design is 4500 x 4500 pixels or more it should be big enough and clear enough as long as you didn't just scale it up to 4500 x 4500 as a raster object... you could also do the zoom in test and see if you see any pixelation... you shouldn't see any right away.
I do not know what I do wrong but it looks like Canva does not support SVG format

After vectorizing them you can upscale them.... and you could sell them on Etsy sure if you put them on products from Printify for example.

I guess you could sell patterns as a digital download if you wanted to.... but I would put them in packs of 10-20.... I guess you could do the same with clipart.... as long as you let them know the size you should be okay
Is it the fact of having taken designs of other artist on Leonardo AI or the fact that my Redbubble descriptions are not correct but I made myself banished from Redbubble whereas I do not know why can you help me, is that there is copyright, do you think that Redbubble saw that they were already made works, do I have to make mine but does that change anything, do we have the right to sell works created by artificial intelligences?

Yes... phone cases on Amazon should be about 3500x3500.... it's actually taller than longer but it's better to make ia a square for the other products.

My account was suspended too two weeks ago and no explanation was given. The only action I had taken was uploading the first five images required to start selling, two of which were my own and the others were AI-generated..

I'm guessing it's a size or format thing.... make sure to use a PNG that is about 4500x4500 or more but less than 25 MB
Love your content, been following for a long time, thanks! I tried this out for myself but noticed that even though the 'seamless pattern tile' looks seamless at a glance, when testing it in illustrator and zooming in you can see that it doesn't match 100% and would therefore not look good as a pattern once printed. The tile was ever so slightly out and not 100% square. I tried making a pattern after centralizing and saving a square artboard png but still didn't work. I played around with it for quite some time and the result was always the same. How did you overcome this problem? Thanks again 🙏
That's interesting. I would try again. Make sure the result is a square and that tiling is on. I'll have to try it again and find out what happens

I don't know.... I would guess they would try all the different art tools available.... iPads, AI, AR, etc.

According to their FAQs, yes..... You can make your own titles for these patterns... or just search for patterns
Is there any platform that does a 1/4 drop? -Or 1/2 drop (which makes the tiling less obvious by not being lined up exactly evenly)

Try again.... your SVG file maybe too big... you could also try Photopea instead of Canva
@@DetourShirts I tried several times. It’s not the size issue also as it is 500kb. I don’t have a pro account. Can that be a problem? I did some work around to make it work using gimp. But would love to use canva directly.

I didn't do anything besides making sure tiling is on... is your tiling switched on?.... I also put repeat pattern in the prompt, that could help

love your videos. when I hit tiling in Redbubble I see a distinctive lines where the patterns meet. I don't see that on yours, how come? Is there a magic trick?
I think you just have the make sure they line up.... sometimes AI have a hard time with that.... try Ideogram

Just check out the seamless pattern and tried generate some, the seamless is not that seamless. Just zoom in you will find the issue. May be still need some work in this area.
