There is gonna be some serious law suites here…. As Dave is found not guilty on these made up arrests, the law suites should be started immediately. Most judges would find this infringement on rights pretty disturbing.

Very, Very few lawyers have any balls to sue the cops across the GTA and the ones that do want 50k retainers to start or you’d have to have a huge and heavily covered case for a lawyer to take it pro bono because they’ll get on TV for a few weeks months.

It is in this case as this was at Nathan Phillips Square. I would say he actions would be included in the "interfering...." clause. Demonstrators have some really stupid rights in my opinion in Canada so David was in the wrong when he didn't step back from the protesters; and even more wrong when he didn't follow police directions. The thing is that the police have no say or control on what the protest is or what they say during it; our hate laws are confusing in that area. All they can try and do is keep any conflict to a miminal until everyone goes home and we all forget it even happened.
