A genuine jf blade has jf or kongsklide stamped on the back of them between where the 2 slots are. I am one of the 3 lads who done up your harvester from the jf centre tullamore 👍
An absolutely fantastic video!! I really am a big fan of the trailed forage harvesters. It amazes me how much hp is needed to run yours!! How many rpm are the tines and auger running at a full speed? Very impressive set up and lovely tractor too!! Very wide pick up must be difficult in tight spaces though?
Your pto stub change There is a M16 bolt at 6oclock under the stub, undo that then screw a longer M16 in to lock the stub from turning and then u dont need the ugaduga gun
Do you ever umbilical the slurry out we do in spring when weather not ideal for traveling allso saves cow pathways. We lorry slurry to outside block and pump off artics then
I know this is a bit of an old video and you may have come up with a better solution to your slip clutch problem since but have you considered putting in a automatic cam clutch instead of the Spring and plates. Think yours should be 3000nM torque. ( at least that is what the 1350 is set at) Cam clutch will be more expensive than friction one but last far longer and is either slipping or not.
What’s ur thoughts on wagon silage instead of precision chop? As wagon silage is getting a lot more popular certainly in north isles of Scotland on dairy’s.
Cracking Forage harvester the old JF will shift some grass through her pity about new massey on front of it, just doesn't look right much better with the old style massey on it,,,,,,, Still think the new style Masseys are namby pamby tractors don't like em one bit.

Great video.
When you put it in the shed switch on an air dehumidifier for a few days before you oil it up

If it gives me any issues this year I'm sold!
To remember which way (most) nuts/bolts/screws go, remember when looking down at it from above, "lefty loosey, righty tighty"
Have the bolt or the nut? Or does it not make a difference?! 😳

Fine for certain farms, but precision chop is better for fermentation if you can make the system work.
Fabulous 👏👏👏
What do you think of the chop length on the JF compared to other trailed machines? 10x or Mex6?
Very similar to the 10x I have it set as long as possible
8s walk around
Will do, give you all a review. 👍
probably the best trailed harvester available aside from the lely storm.
The only one available now, lely stopped making the Storm
@@dmcg6074 pity. fabulous machine brilliant company . pressures of the marketplace i suppose
Invest in a good impact driver it makes life some much easier 😅
Do you use additive when lifting silage?
Always ecosyl, most are all a total waste of money but ecosyl have some really robust research behind it.
lefty lucy, righty tighty
Where do you dairy?
Omagh, Northern Ireland
It’s a wagon u need
Honestly its not. 😅 We have used them before.
@@FarmTheoryNI every system is different. 3 year with the wagon an love it
Fc 80 drum 1980s model
Did you every try a wagon or wagon silage
Nope, I like precision chop. Not convinced a wagon would work in our situation
In your compaction tiktok what size are your two tankers?
2750gal and 1600gal (only fills to 1400gal from the boom.)
👌🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🙏🙏👍👍
what wrong with silage contractor

Ya looking and sheep to graze it......
Definitely not. 😅 Looking like I might get it next weekend
