There is never going to be a perfect banlist. Even if Konami neuters the existing decks into oblivion, they are simply going to release an even more OPed deck to replace it. You are trading one problem for another.

Man, I remember I was genuinely so excited when the Unchained support in Duelist Nexus was announced. I loved playing Evil Eye Unchained and it was such a big boost in consistency for the deck. Now, any semblance of uniqueness that Unchained had as a relatively pure deck is completely gone, and any use it's seeing is in other decks that simply abuse their cards in as generic of a way as possible. Worse, those decks utilise the Unchained cards in a stronger way than Unchained itself can, so the odds of Unchained ever being a pure deck again are basically zero because Shavara isn't getting unhit anytime soon, and Yama getting hit would annihilate even TRYING to play the deck as intended. Super sad as an Unchained fan. Still, we press on. If that's the price to pay for a nuclear banlist that massively shakes up the game, then so be it.
Wait, ban a floodgate, but semi another one? Hell nah, Colossus belongs to the banned section. Other than that, it should be Sanctifire instead of GP Nightmare and Ido, everything else I wholeheartedly agree, but we will never see it like this.
gp nightmare and ido arent seen in any other deck but branded, the other choices sanctifier can summon arent as good/ the opponent can play around it way easier than those to and allow to keep sancti up.

How to balance the game: 1. Any card that prevent the other player from playing at all MUST BE BANNED. 2. One hour combo deck and stun/ floodgates SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED. 3. Prevent any card to be abused outside its archetype or its original purposes. 4. Remove banlist and release all cards to unlimited so there will be countless tier 0 decks. This way when everything is broken, nothing is. 5. Play UNO.

Beatrice should retain its name in an errata but always be treated as a burning abyss card + can be made with burning abyss monsters of any level. What it needs to do is lock you into Burning Abyss monsters for the rest of the turn or send a Burning Abyss card to grave (or both)
snake eye isnt the problem the generic extra deck cards are plus banning OSS really hurts the deck because then wanted and diabell star arent nearly as strong
Banning s:p is useless, because Lip still exists to link summon during the opponents turn. (world legacy trap) It is even better, because it works during battle, can be linked of and still use trap as interaction. Also if it is used for link summoning, you can shuffle a card on field into the deck. Thus you would have 3 interruptions with little knight.
I was thinking instead of banning protos you can ban nemsis Flag makes it to where any deck that can make banshee keeps it from being splashable in any deck
if they add effect that lock them when they summon any of these cards like RDA (Dark Dragons only) and some other decks they will force to play a pure deck with less meta

either that or at least ban every floodgate out there to make traps less annoying. If we unlimit all backrow removal, that just justifies card design to be out of hand for every trap card printed in the future
Apo is excessive as a ban IMO. Why are we killing all the ways to answer nibiru. Single handtraps that end turns are unhealthy. Thats why maxx c is banned (Droll and shifter should be too).
Rather they kill Calamities instead, Crimson Dragon is a perfectly fine card without it and it will force Konami to be more careful designing synchro monsters.
Definitely a bunch of good hits. Lots of cards deserve to be banned and limited. I think theres a real argument for banning the puppet or albion, but i get everyone will try to save albion. I also think shifter to 1 isnt a bad idea as it foes hit the top decks but ik the biggest problem with shifter is it kills mosy of the rouge and casual decks
I honestly think that they will rather ban infernal flame banshe over protos because is the starter to summon protos plus they're going to reprint protos soon

Banning Crimson instead of Kalamity is wild though, as it that basically nerfs Blue-eyes before the new support even arrives that could make it meta relevant.

You ban Crimson, then pretty much every Synchro strategy dies. White Forest might live as a Rogue deck but that's it.
