I've heard this and Blake feels that poor kids shouldn't get school lunch because he has to pay for it. Blake is a sociopath. Don't be like Blake.
They can't even point to how much it actually cost them in taxes.
And Blake said he will send his daughter to public school- funded by people who dont have kids- because he "doesnt have the means" to homeschool her or send her to private school. The fkn irony.

Speeding ticket is what is called a "civil infraction" not generally considered a crime. "criminal infraction" is usually described by misdemeanor or felony. It seems like I am being pedantic, but the caller clearly needs to take a civics class or do a few nights in jail.
Okay - let us say that 100% of all those children were victims of human trafficking - do you think holding them in concentration camps is something that is helpful to them? While simultaneously dismissing them as “actors” when there is concern raised about said concentration camps and their conditions? If you TRULY cared about the children’s well-being then perhaps wouldn’t you consider that this could be traumatic for them to be locked up in poor conditions?
It's best to separate them from their guardians just to be on the safe side. Wouldn't want to err on the side of empathy. /s

Sam Seder sounds like the least jestful host I've ever come across, frankly, with this little hissy-fit. Pumped up with petulant self-righteousness, he loses the plot from the beginning and seems to have had a trans-orbital sense of humour removal. I do wish he'd stop slurring as well. It's really not a good image, to be frank, and he looks and sounds rather challenged. Needs to calm down as well - excessive high-horsiness causes hypertension.
The caller, whilst I don't share his viewpoint, wins a grace and dignity award next to Seder's spiteful outburst.

There’s another call where he’s against lunches being paid for school children because from his point of view the parents who cannot afford it don’t care for their kids. Sam absolutely flips the table on him by examining Blake’s life decisions and explaining how society functions. Big empathy deficit from Blake.

Man this is scary. In the 1950s when my dad was a small child, he and one of his older brothers were sent to California from Mexico to live with their uncle after their mother died. A similar scenario to what Sam said 3 minutes in. The fact that America acted less racist towards him in the 1950s than what they're doing now to Hispanic people is startling. Who knows what would have happened to my father and uncle? They would have been thrown into these detention camps and forgotten about like these poor children. Do we even know if all of these kids are even alive? I'm terrified that we're going to hear about what was going on and it's going to be far worse than we think. This is such a crappy time to be half Mexican (or Latino) and half white when one of your races is constantly being evil to the other. And I get a may have used the term "race" wrong, but you get what I'm trying to say, right?

They’re ‘undocumented’ in that they don’t have documentation approving their immigration, not that they have no documentation whatsoever to verify their identity. Also, it’s not to be used as an argument against anti-immigration in its entirety, but people of the same opinion as this caller should be reminded a little compassion goes a long way.
Sadly, he hasn't gotten any better. At another point, he was calling complaining about paying for poor kids' lunches.

Its simple. The idea is build a wall to funnel people to legal ports of entry so they can become legal tax paying or benefit receiving citizens.

And I can tell you, my first orphanage my Mom and the Pastor who dropped my sister and I off, and then without explanation I searched for them and they were gone, I'm an old man, and I still have issues to do with trust for my Mom having just dropped us off at a local Rescue Mission that fed drunks, and gave them a flop house for the night. From the 1950s, foster care, orphanges, and an absent Dad who spent most of his time in jail, and my Mom suffering deep depressions for fear social services would take away her kids, and they did just that, and after we were taken, she then ended up in a state hospital and so many ECT treatments she was unable to tell me what it was about, why she just abandoned us with strangers. Being abandoned the feeling just never goes away, and then the only one with answers had her memory almost wiped from the electroconvulsive treatments and she couldn't fill me in on the answers.
It makes a difference to these poor kids and anyone who thinks it's good to deter emigration by using kids as pawns are complete uncaring assholes.
