I love this idea and it worked great for my community pool. Also - only infants that have received the sit up milestone can dip their toes in the water!
So i tried this on ps4 and i think it worked. I have yet to try it with a toddler. But i managed to lower terrain and get water in it. For those wondering how to lower the square on the flatten to height tool. Just press R1. That will lower the square L1 will rise it.
I think toddlers can only go so far into water - when you take them to the beach that's about as far as they go into the ocean. Helpful tutorial, thanks! I wonder if you can make a full pool with a deep end using this method 🤔
I’ve been trying this for 40 mins and figured out where I was going wrong! Make sure you don’t have any flooring around your pool, you just want to do it on the normal grass. That worked for me! 🎉
I'm just wondering, have you tried this without the larger pool surrounding it? Or perhaps, deleted the larger pool so it's just the kiddie pool size? I want to try this out, but I don't really want to have a large pools in my sim's backyard but the toddler sized one interests me. I think I might have to experiment with this.
Think I know why it didn’t work for me🤔 I tried it on a lot already had a pool and was adding it. I need to try on a new lot with nothing on it like you said 😊
Plz someone! When I click on lower terrain it highlight my whole lot not just the inside of the kiddie pool then it messes up inside if my house layout
@@storm.designit is but when i do the terrain changer it only puts the middle in the rest of the pool is just the slanted ground and there’s only one flat point
I made it and even my toddler can sit in water and play with toys in water lol love your cute idea 😘
Im a console player & ive used this trick No problem...thank you! 🎉❤
What buttons did you use to lower the ground

@NobodyYouKnow578 I’m doing this on a PC, it was just meant to be an easier version that also works for console
@@storm.design oh ok, the first version just said that I couldn’t put water in it because it couldn’t find a pool or fountain

This is great took me a few goes to get it right the first version worked better for me :D This is awesome :D
The terrain hight only lets me do the middle but not the whole square
That’s strange, have you go move objects turned on?
@@storm.design I can’t even move anything. Thanks for the help.
@@storm.design I have the same problem as her, even with moveobjects I still have the problem
Me pasaba lo mismo, hasta que saque las baldosas que rodeaban la piscina, espero te ayude!
This was SUPER helpful! Thanks so much!!! 😁🎉
The dirt is going through the pools walls so it won't be flat. Do u know how to fix this
I'm wanting to do mine in a building with no foundation. Do I need to get rid of all flooring around it?
I don't know how to adjust the speed on Xbox but I kinda figured out how to make the kid pool

You won't get a perfects vertical edge without the pool around it, it'll be fully slanted like the entrance to the toddler pool

Maybe your game isn't updated?
Everytime I add water it tells me pools and fountains can’t be submerged by water
How do you do the thing on lower to height on PlayStation
Ty RY tYbTy tybtybty tyyyyyy my little one love's it and she can sit and she does play in it
I have growing together but it still wouldn’t do the “dip toes in water”
You need your infant to have the sit up milestone i believe, I didn’t realise at the time
@@storm.design Oh! Thank you!!
tysm!!!
Can't adjust the terrain tool on ps4. The first knob works but u can't move your cursor freely on console smh
You can I have a newer video on this that’s in my shorts it has the PlayStation and Xbox buttons on the screen

How do you do it on PS4
Same? For me
It doesnt work still
this doesnt work, you can’t change the height amount on console
You can just make sure there’s no flooring underneath has to be r the natural terrain underneath
