Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is the best British comedy series you'll ever see! It's a hilarious, horror-comedy mockumentary that follows the epic adventures of horror novelist Garth Marenghi and his team as they produce their low-budget TV show, "Darkplace."
The series is full of clever jokes and hilarious moments, as well as some truly bizarre and absurd characters. Garth Marenghi, played by the brilliant Matthew Holness, is a self-absorbed, egotistical writer who is convinced that he's a genius. He's joined by his co-writer and producer, Dean Learner (played by Richard Ayoade), who is equally egocentric and clueless.
The rest of the cast is equally fantastic, including the eccentric Dr. Rick Dagless, played by the hilarious Alice Lowe, and the over-the-top Liz Asher, played by the amazing Katherine Parkinson. Together, they must face off against the forces of evil, including demonic toasters and killer eyeballs, in their quest to save the world from darkness.
