Buckin I thank God for you. I was having a very bad morning and just watched this video real quick and your love and kindness lifted me up. Just keep at it your making more of a impact than you think.
Nice! I know you're a Ford guy but I'm building a 1977 K5 right now (actually a GMC Jimmy but pretty much the same). Not sure if you know much about them but it's a blazer that the top comes off. My dad's 73 k5 top came off all the way to the windshield. So, picture a convertible blazer. I also worked with a guy who had a 67 chevy 1ton dump that we used every single day. I love old trucks like that, I don't care what company manufacturer they are..there's just somethin different about a good ol work truck. Definitely don't make em like they used to.
Buckin, I believe many of us here share that same problem. When it comes to working outdoors 7 days a week, rain snow or shine, one can never have too many boots! To me they are an essential. Take care of them and they will take care of you.
They cut my favorite boots too...!at hospital when crushed me too... So special! We went through the same...in lots of ways. It help me to get stronger... Love ya
Myrtle sounds pretty good sitting there roaring in like a lion. I’m not a Ford man but I could own myrtle😊.Love the old manual four speeds on the floor. Stay safe Buckin
There's nothing wrong liking a good pair of boot that just fit the way they should. I got a pair of boots from Drew's Boots 2 years ago and they are the best boots I have. Have a great day and God Bless.
I’m still looking for my dads old early 77 highboy in western Washington . I learned to drive that granny low 4 speed . Silver with the dent stripe painted dark blue with red pin stripes around the blue . Wish I could find it . Was told it got sold to a guy up north … Seattle Bellingham .
Buckin nation loves ya boss! I went into JK’s . Nice folks but not the experience i was hoping for. Kept looking around. Found Franks boots in spokane. Search was over. Owner/ operator used to be co owner of Nicks Keep on truckin you Angel maniac!
Eh Buckin ! Howdy ! great review on the boots. Good socks make all the difference. If you have some experience with socks please do share. Have a Good day.
Just got my first pair of Nick's this week. I was originally looking at the Builder Pros, but got a deal on brand new pair of the Hotshots that were ready to ship, so went with them. I am up to 10 hours a day in them. Still stiff, but loving them.
Regarding the internet advice ~ In the words of Rocky: "I didnt hear no bell ring ~ did somebody ring a bell?!" Keep on truckin Buckin ~ I've gained a lot of info on felling trees & maintaining power saws on "your channel." That said, you know what they say about opinions ~ keep yours and never change, braugh. Rock on
Hey Buckin! I’m looking for a splitting axe as close to your Bucking Bullet Axe as I can get. Hoffman has a vary long backlog, so that is out. I can check with Whiskey River about the Council 5 pound splitting axe with their 30C handle. Any comments are welcome. I have a Fiskars 36”axe & 8lbs. Maul. Also a few straight handled axes.
Seen a celebrity over here on the Coast running through Sechelt I look over in the line up of traffic a red crew cab with a young guy driving it, just caught the corner of my eye as the traffic was a little snarled. In all honesty I'm liking the extra width in the JK boots the problem I had with the Vibergs in the last 25 years is I have wide feet. No way in hell I could wear 2E boots they are too tight they started making 4E boots they still were tight in the toe box as I have to wear CSA boots. I wear merino medium weight wool socks year round.
I think Myrtle needs a spare tire mounted outside the bed asap, and perhaps a jerry can or two on the opposite side!! Nice video friend!! Not any Macs lately? What happened? :-)
9:22 I actually like a wide (I have skinny feet) footbase My Wesco corks are sortakinda like your JK's. Been falling for 25 yrs hear in PA there ya go now you can say yo heard it and you can sleep good knowing I ain't not never wrong but seriously I think I'm going with Nicks
Would that be a bootaphiliac? Bootasauras? Dunno, but I have a bit of a problem too. Small scale. Slip on some merino socks and strap on some handmade pnws and your day is so much better. I have one pair of whites, (2000), and 2 pair of nicks, (2016), $70 per year over 28 years in premium boots. Rebuilds and resolves included.
If yer really nice and got a lot of money 💰 😂😂😂, I’m totally kidding you just havin’ fun . There is quite a list sir in front , so to not leave you with any false hope , so at this point probably not . Thx so much
Interesting that "Franks Boots" was mentioned. As someone who has worn both White's/Nick's boots on and off since the late 70's and whose patronage of White's boots in particular goes back 3 generations in my family anyone who has not given Spokane, WA's Frank's Boots serious consideration, unfortunately, is doing themselves a disservice.... jus sayin.
Thanks for the shout out buckn’ looking forward to seeing that marti report on Myrtle.
you got it ,, me too
Too cool when Buckin said "Matt" i knew it had to be you lol!!!

+ for Matt K on the Old Fords! Authentic.
Definitely, Buckin'!!
Nothing like a big pair of boots cold starting a carbureted work truck. Would love to see more of that.
Hello Buckin. Heading over to Matt Kubik's channel now. 😊
Matt does amazing work. i found him about a month ago.
And a KUV cutaway tool body.🍻
Glad you're back to shiftin' gears brother!
Love me a pair hand made boots. I been wearing them for years. The wide platform does not bother me. I think gives your foot more protection.
You got that rg. An a bag of food an water 👍👏
Hey Buckin, I'm shopping for some decent boots for the woods, you like the soft or steel toe? I've never had a steel toe boot.
Just got my first pair of Nick's this week. I was originally looking at the Builder Pros, but got a deal on brand new pair of the Hotshots that were ready to ship, so went with them. I am up to 10 hours a day in them. Still stiff, but loving them.

Hey B
👍
Just curious here. Did you buy those boots with your own hard earned money? Or were they given to you for free by the company to promote their boot?
❤❤
Check out Franks boots too
should really throw a clear coat on it to keep it like it is.
Ahwoooo 👍❤️
Is there any way to buy an axe from You?
If yer really nice and got a lot of money 💰 😂😂😂, I’m totally kidding you just havin’ fun . There is quite a list sir in front , so to not leave you with any false hope , so at this point probably not . Thx so much

Myrtle will run after the coming EMP attack when most of the computer controlled vehicles are sitting on the side of the road....
