very interesting. a lot of new information for me that I will use in my breeding. I am a beginner breeder and I like listening to such videos. maybe someday I will be able to share my knowledge and record something equally interesting.
Interesting, would like to know more regarding the profitability. Giving the current situation with feed prices and selling price of eggs now. Great content.
I like your closing statement....really, 95% is highly possible...if the birds are well bred. Thanks 🙏 Please, how do you make them to lay extra large eggs and at what age can I expect such large eggs? I have a small flock of 150 layers. They are laying well at 24 weeks(over 90%). Mostly in lower 50grams range. At what age can I expect more market friendly sizes?
Thank you! Great question. Egg sizes are largely influenced by so many factors. Breed, health status, feed, nutritional supplements, farm management and age amongst others. Give your birds more time. With adequate care and good management practices, they will lay bigger eggs. If a farmer induces/forces bigger eggs from birds under wrong circumstances, cloacal prolapse will be the least of the problems.
They are both very important. Especially Lasota. Some people recommend giving Lasota monthly. But in order to reduce cost of production I give lasota every 6 weeks then deworm every 2 months. (So instead of buying lasota 12 times in a year I end up buying it only 9 times). 😊
Very knowledgeable Mr CEO
Brother your explanations were superb. Nice video. I will start with 50 layers as a guy wey no get big money. That’s why i’m learning
