where do you sell such quantities? Of course, your market is completely different from mine, but how do you reach customers who buy such large quantities? Are eggs really more profitable than meat in the long run?
That question is a bit tricky because it depends on the market. For some people in some certain locations, meat is definitely the way to go. It just depends on the demand/market availability.

If you calculate it, you’ll see that 2000 laying birds should consume 220kg of feed per day which is 8.8 bags or approximately 9 bags of 25kg feed. The easiest and fastest way to calculate it is dividing the number of birds by 225. For example 2000/225 = 8.89. Meaning 8.8 bags approximately 9bags. (This is the easiest method I use to calculate it) . And to get high egg productivity daily, it is best you feed the 2000 birds like this; 6 bags in the morning and 3 bags in the late afternoon. (NB: Always ensure they eat more in the morning than later in the day).
