"Oh yeah! You the one with that high booty girlfriend. The one I don't particu-larry like." 😂😂 Everything she's done has been so memorable. So glad she's getting her flowers. 💐💐
Mrs. Bibi, was so wonderful 🎉an icon. Does she have a star on the Hollywood walk? If not she deserves it. And I can’t wait till Tyler P, decides on a role she can be welcomed in.
Much appreciation for the respect given to this sista during this interview not trying to pull out gossip or slander just respecting and honoring her experience and capturing these important stories we need as a community so we have the history!
When I tell you how much I love this woman right here. Chillleee. She needs a star in Hollywood if she doesn't already have one. That Good Times Savannah bit is my favorite. I can recite it in my sleep!!!!
❤literally the best thing I’ve watched in 2025. The conversations with our elders are so underrated. I feel blessed as an entertainer and as an individual to have watched this. 💯🙏💙
THIS WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!......I'm greedy though. I would like to see an interview with Vernee Watson. She was Will Smith's mother in Fresh Prince. Black folks know her face but not her name....She's been in the business since the 70's too.
This was a wonderful surprise for me. It was so good! Bebe Drake is one of my childhood favorites. I'm so glad someone interviewed her. This is a gem! 🎉 ❤🎉🎉
I am soooo happy you're giving her, her flowers. I loved her for years. Soooo underrated as an actress. My all time favorite episode of Good Times was when she got into it with James. CLASSIC !!! I'm from the south and those Speak Easy's she speaks of are called "Hit Houses", where I'm from. You could drink all night and get you a fish or chicken plate to soak up that liquor. And she isn't lying all kinds of professionals frequent those places. They were the "don't ask, don't tell spots."
This woman is a living legend. I first saw her on Martin as Stan’s girlfriend riding in the limo lol. Thx for allowing her to tell her story. I enjoyed this one from start to finish.
I have been thinking about Mrs BB Drake wondering what she has been up to. So many greats have passed away. Happy she has taken time to bless us with an interview that we can have for years to come. I remember her from " which way is up" and tons of black movies My grandson kids 4 and 6 love her in the family reunion with Red Grant, Reynaldo Rey and sommore.
This was really a great interview, i love the way she told her story. She really took her time, and you can tell she has really fond memories that are dear to her. You can see it in more than just her words but her face. It was an honor to even be able to listen to her story.
I love love love Bebe Drake. She has giving us some lols. I remember her first as Myra, but heard she was on Good Times, but that show was before my time. Then Ms. Pearly!!! We use to quote her Ms. Pearly lines at my old job all the time. And my and uncle and I still lol at WOLF lol. Thank yall for interviewing her!!!
I really enjoyed this interview. U always had been nothing but the best. Every time folks talk about actresses you always came up in my mind. I didn't know your name. I would always say what about that lady from Good times. Blessings too you my sister. Much Love ❤️
My brother, you, and your daughter did again. BeBe gave me some power intell. The Green Pasture films I never knew they we're in existence. I look at all these beautiful films . Thank you for this inspirational interview. Let her know her fans. Thanks to her, too!!!
It was a powerful interview, detailing her timeline from her parents' era during the Depression, her pursuit of education, and her dedication to sticking to her principles, even when it cost her money. The times have changed and continue to change. Her transparency was full of wisdom. It was a good job, and I took my time to watch it all and understand it fully.
Thank you so much for this interview. I enjoyed every moment. It's so nourishing to listen to an actress of her experience speak and share her story. It means a lot. Thank you!
I’ve been waiting for a long time to see a detailed interview like this with Bebe Drake! It was such a joy getting to finally know more about her!! Thanks for this!
Listening to the elderly sister. Has me thinking why do you wanna disrespect your elders by tryna love white people. I'm finna stay black and brown till im underground. I love how she called them blue eyed devils.
Why would you loved that ?! If they called us a name nowadays, most of us will be quick to cancel, protest and all kind of cap. That’s her story of how it was in the past. It’s a big difference! They had a reason to feel that way back then. Today ?! Absolutely, not. We are nowhere close to that. If anything, black and brown seem to not like each other!
THIS WAS A GREAT INTERVIEW! I ENJOYED HERE BEBE DRAKE’S JOURNEY! SHE’S DEFINITELY A UNDERRATED ACTRESS, THAT DESERVES HER FLOWER! YOU DID GREAT INTERVIEWING MS.BEBE! I JUST SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR UA-cam CHANNEL! KEEP INTERVIEWING ACTORS & ACTRESSES (LEGENDS)!
Awesome interview! Great job on convincing her to let the interview happen,,, I have been a fan of Ms. Drake's for a long time... it's so cool to see her get her flowers finally!!
Denise Nicholas was in the television show Room 222. I'm pretty sure she had Marla Gibbs show 227 on her mind. Impressive list of actors she mentioned with the Negro Ensemble Theater. 😊
A applaud you Ms.Drake for taking a stand against racism and refusing to work with those devils. We need more black people in the industry like you. God bless!!!
This was great to see! I’m so glad Ms. Drake got her flowers in this presentation. This was long overdue. She looks and sounds exactly the same. “Which Way is Up?” Is the part i remember most.

There’s but one other amazing personality like Ms. Bebe Drake, and that’s Jenifer Lewis. Two of THE BEST!
This was a blessing, she needs to be on T.V. right now!!! One of the greatest who are still with us in 2025. I love BeBe Drake.
It’s a good idea for her to do this interview because if this gains traction I’m sure she will book more jobs if she’s still interested in working
You were wise to bring your daughter on...she is cultured enough to keep up and draw the interview out. Well done.
Thank u! 🙏🏾
@@HoldinCourtPodcast Yeah Court, she was more on point than you lol
