I get fresh goat's milk at the farmers market $1.5 dollar for one liter (over 1 quart) I do prepare kefir and yogurt as well. I have to boil the milk for 12 to 15 min because the sanitary screening for the animals is not good here (MX) they might carry Brucella and TB, so boiling the milk is a must.
It is good that you do have the option of getting dry milk but from far away places. Although, the local dry milk for your country is way expensive.

Howdy Pete! I'm liking this idea... we need more info! lol What is the shelf life of the powdered milk sealed in the jars? I'd also enjoy seeing how you make your kefir and yogurt. Well done and thanks for sharing 🤠

If this was non fat milk, it could last up to 25 years in vacuum sealed mylar bags with O2 absorbers. But because it's whole fat powdered milk in glass jars, it could last about 4 to 5 years.
