I just LOVE the exterior! ❤❤❤ A total dream for me. 😍 What a beautiful painting in the entrance area 🥰 The office is as beautiful. Perfect colour combo with this built in desk. Very interesting tub/shower solution in one of the bedrooms, but the most stunning is this big round window on the front. 🎉 I love your designs so much 🤩
The entry and living room are great (I'd make my fireplace gas), but the kitchen is quite small. To supplement it I would redesign the office as a large pantry with lots of counter space and storage. Both bedrooms need another window. The plan, however, is nicely presented.
I agree with you on everything except this: the need for an extra window in each bedroom. As far as the fireplace goes, I could do without it, period. But, you supplied great suggestions.
@@melaniefogarty858 Actually, I wouldn't have a fireplace at all, but the architects that post these plans seem to love them, so I've limited my comments about them. An open fireplace is hugely wasteful for heat, though a gas unit with controlled air intake is more efficient. A wood-burning stove inserted into the fireplace can also provide some heat benefit, which is what I see in many UK home videos. I now see them in some of these videos as well. As far as windows are concerned, I like natural light. The window in one of the bedrooms here may just barely comply with building code requirements for an egress window because of its height from the floor, but one might climb on the bed and get out in case of fire.
I like it! It's beautiful and functional. The way you use multiple colors and finishes in the same spaces and yet make it all cohesive and serene is impressive. Coincidentally, I was just browsing tile patterns from Tile Bar and felt drawn to the *exact* tile pattern you used on the bathroom floors. Is that a sign, lol? Is this the one for me? There aren't any flaws, but there are a few personal preference changes I'd make: Switch the common bath with the en-suite, so that there won't be a bathroom door at the end of the hall, but rather on the side of the hall. Make a large patio off the kitchen/dining area instead of a a narrow stoop. Like someone else said, for grilling. I'd like two big windows in each bedroom. The side porch is grand, but it almost seems too grand for the house. I could be very happy with just two bays instead of four, if that makes sense (not sure if I'm expressing clearly but I think you see what I mean).
I agree about a larger outdoor space off the kitchen. Conversely, I wholly disagree with the necessity/desire for 2 large windows in the bedrooms. Bedrooms are for sleeping, and it's been proven, scientifically, that a cooler temperature and a dark bedroom are the best elements to provide a sound and restful sleep.
@melaniefogarty858 That's why I said it was my personal preference, not a flaw (although as shown, one bedroom has windows that are placed too high for some egress codes). I can like what I like. I do agree there can be too many windows in a bedroom, though. My current bedroom came with 4 big windows, too many for me! Heavy curtains have become my friends.
I like it, but no back door for getting out into the back garden, I think I would prefer to have the kitchen and dining room where the office and laundry room are, whether it would work is another thing, I would have put the side porch around the rear of the property.
A very nice two bedroom, two bath home with a semiopen concept floor plan. What happened to three-bedroom homes? It seems like everybody’s putting out nothing but two bedroom homes now. Even a four bedroom? It’s a nice home but not what I really want and need. Kitchen is a bit tight as is the guest bedroom. And it’s missing the critical back patio for grilling and entertaining.

The kitchen layout is horrible! Laundry room looks like it's in a small closet! Come on you can do better than this!
I like this floorplan, it's nice. I would eliminate half the wall between the living room and kitchen to make it more open.❤❤🥰🏠🥰🏡
That front entrance is perfect!

Very nice house. I prefer an open kitchen with an island.
Death is cruel but it’s not a true ending. A spirit lives for eternity. 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Strange 😳

I need English country style houses with two floors
When you get older and/or develop arthritis, you'll rethink that. Also, one floor homes are easier to heat and cool.

Porch access is too limited even though it’s a really great porch & plan otherwise.

There are plenty of house plans with 3 or 4 bedrooms. Some empty nesters want to downsize.
Absolutely hate the kitchen; designed, location and all!
