Jesus didn't come to persuade an angry God to be nice towards mankind; 😲
he came to persuade an indifferent and hostile humanity about the goodness of God! ❤

Great answer, exactly as 2 Cor 5:18-19 & generally 1 Cor 13 tells!

I didn't realize that this whole time that there were hidden gems within Reformed Christianity that was so much better than the not so good news of Double Predestination.

I hear you brother, I have a lot more peace since removing the false idea of Limited atonement- the ugly L if the TULIP. 1 Tim. 2:4 and 2 Peter 3:9 for starters also Thomas Talbott and his inconsistent trilema etc.

Alright, interesting. I was familiar with him only peripherally.

Please cite one academic source that declares Schleiermacher the "Father of Modern Protestant Theology." He's known well as the Father of LIBERAL Theology and Hermeneutics... The former alleged label is extremely imprecise.

You can say "Himself". God uses He/Him pronouns.
